I have been a member of the bookstagram community for a couple of years now, and have just expanded my reach into the tiktok realm. This Toolkit is definitely snappy in its advice - and gave me some valuable tips moving forward in these online communities. Some of the advice seemed pretty basic and like fair knowledge, but helpful to have all in one place.
I'm so excited to start sharing more reviews and content, and feel like this Toolkit is going to be super useful to refer back to as I grow my platforms.

This Book Advocate Toolkit is easy to read and follow, with bright, clean graphics and lots of good information. As someone who’s been reviewing/promoting books for a few years, it was nice to see the things I’m doing right and where I could use improvements. I recommend following the links to the Bookish website for more information – in particular, I found the site’s bookstagram sections and tips on how to take Instagram-worthy ebook photos to offer some very useful advice for me as I’ve been thinking of branching out to Instagram for my book blog.

I look forward to reading future updates to the kit and would recommend it to everyone, no matter where they are on their book advocate journey.

It gives great tips on writing reviews, do's and dont's and also highlights the many different channels tl share book reviews. Important! Form your own voice in your book reviews, your readers will appreciate this.

This was a very informative and helpful little read! I especially found the different tips for different review platforms extremely helpful, as sometimes it's hard to know how to review in various spaces.

I did find I was unable to follow any links listed, and I'm not sure if that was because I was reading this on my phone on the netgalley shelf, but I would have loved to have explored the extra information that was mentioned.

Overall, this was such a big help, even to someone who's reviewed books in various ways on a couple different platforms, and I look forward to putting some of the tips I learned to use!

I am relatively new to NetGalley and reading books and posting book reviews, so I found this book(let) useful!
An easy read and might come in useful for people who are starting threat reading and online bookish journey.

Very useful for people who are just getting into review writing. Some things were new even for me, a long time reader and reviewer.

Nicely laid out bitesize guide with some good tips even for the experienced reviewer. Not all was applicable to me, as I find the very idea of TikTok, etc, faintly exhausting (I'm the old-fashioned Goodreads/Amazon only type) but I'm sure people who do use these platforms will find the advice helpful.

This guide, full of practical advices and tips presented in easy to digest form, should be useful to any NetGalley user. I just wish ai could read something like this when I was a newbie, but still it is worth reading even if you are an experienced reviewer.

The Toolkit is a great guide to start your online book platform in many forms. As I am only starting my bookstagram and am learning a lot about the platform, my style, how the algorithm works etc, I have found this toolkit to be super useful and packed with great tips how to start. I will probably come to those advices a few more times to create a habit out of them and boost my bookstagram account! Definitely recommend to anyone in the bookish community!
