Oh my word. This book had me gripped from the first page. So many twists and turns that were completely unexpected. Some very upsetting bits but that’s what made the story so good. I’ve now read several of Nicole Trope’s books, and they’ve all been excellent.

Good book! I really enjoyed reading this book! It had suspense, intrigue, and a great storyline! It flowed nicely and had a bit of a who done it! I could definitely imagine this happening in real life! I will definitely recommend reading this book! Its well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

These lines attracted my attention...Millie... she's gone.... gone...
Tension came in my mind when I read this. Their adorable child is gone. Is everyone telling the truth? Leslie, Shelby and Ruth were wonderful female characters who knew perfectly how to attract attention and play with someone's mind.
Honestly saying i didn't believe anyone especially these women. It's a brilliant rale about motherhood with required suspense. I recommend this to those who love stories with emotions and tensions.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me an advance copy.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters were very believable, and the storyline gripped Me from the very first page

This is a terrifically suspenseful story. An older stepdaughter watches her younger sister while her stepmother shops. Except Shelby doesn’t tell exactly what happened thst afternoon when Millie disappears. Neither does Leslie, or Bianca, or Ruth, or Trevor. This story reminds me of a cartoon from my childhood where a suitcase continues to unfold over and over and over. There is a lot to sift through with this story. There are some truly vile characters and many heartbreaking realizations.
