I love my predictable romances, but this one did not keep me turning the pages. the characters fell too flat for me and the plot was quite ludicrous.

Serafina is broke and needs to find a way to make her newly inherited palazzo work for itself so that she is able to repair it. When she gets the idea to marry in exchange for promotion and repairs she sets off to Rome to get her builder.
she convinces him to come to Venice for a week, hoping he will fall in love with her home and Venice but as the time passes she realises that she has in fact fallen in love with him.
This was a lovely story and the characters were easy to like.

I love Kate Hardy, and she excels whether she's writing hot and steamy or sweet and swoony. One Week in Venice with the CEO is another winner for me.

Serafina and Gianni were both likeable characters, and I loved the descriptions of Venice, a great all round romantic read!

A cute read. The whole book is packed with stories and life in Venice. The home of Serafina is on the canals and is in total disrepair, we learn about how the beautiful old houses are damaged and repaired as well as travelling with Seraphina and Gianni around Venice and visiting the city highlights. The pictures painted are lovely however the romance seems rather secondary to this.

Serafina needs to restore her crumbling palazzo after the death of her father. Still reeling from a betrayal in love, she seeks only a business relationship with contractor Gianni. Successful Gianni is wary of Serafina's motives. Attraction deepens into an emotional attachment, but can they trust each other with their vulnerable hearts?

Gentle romance, likeable characters and lovely detailed descriptions of Venice make this an engaging story to read.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

One Week in Venice with the CEO is part of Mills and Boons True Love Series.

This is a quick read of a book and I really enjoyed this story - strangely not because of the romance aspect which was lovely - but because of the Restoration Work on the Palazzo which was so interesting and the Sightseeing around Venice which is stunning! You can almost picture yourself in St Marks Square!

My Favourite Line was “I think…. Home might be where you are” #Swoon
