For someone of a younger generation who has previously read other books focused on understanding religion. This book takes a totally different view on how events took place. It aids the reader in understanding the stories by breaking down some of the more unrealistic claims which have historically been harder to understand. I have found the book helpful in understanding the Gospel of John whilst also finding it interesting to see how it can be described in the modern way of thinking.
