'Part of Your World' by Abby Jimenez is an excellent addition to the romantic world she is building. Here, we do not have the appearance of her former characters (save one fan's t-shirt which tells us we are in the same universe as our other beloved characters), but we embark on a journey with new set of romantic leads. Alexis Montgomery is 37, breaking up with her boyfriend, failing to live up to the prestigious family legacy and on her way home from a funeral when she meets Daniel. He is chivalrous and rescues her car from a ditch outside his small hometown of Wakan. Following a well-placed bet and the offer of a grilled cheese, these two fall into bed very quickly before Alexis finds out this small town man is only 28 (gasp!). Can she resist falling for him when she knows their ages and legacies are so diametrically opposed? (Of course she can't!)

I enjoyed the spark between these two characters and the world built in the small town of Wakan. The plot points where the community has to pull together is heartwarming and you can understand why Alexis is reluctant to leave Daniel and the other townsfolk behind. Although some points are baffling to me, such as rich girl Alexis not knowing how to cook, clean or survive on her own, the overall story and the resolution were ultimately satisfying.

I am also moving onto Bri's book straight away as she was a real highlight of this book so I cannot wait to read her story also! 4 stars.

This was my first Abby Jimenez book and I loved it so much! Part Of Your World is now one of my all time favourite romance books and even though I finished it a few months ago, I still think about it every day.
This book had everything I wanted in a romance book. It was funny, adorable, had likeable main characters and side characters, had an interesting plot and was just overall amazing. There were so many times whilst reading this book where I could not stop smiling and giggling at something that the characters had said or done.
I absolutely adored both Alexis and Daniel from the beginning and I could not help but root for them to be together. These two characters had so much chemistry and the way Abby Jimenez writes not just romance but the characters, made me fall in love with her writing.
I devoured this book so fast because I could not put it down and I needed to know what happened next but once I finished it I was so sad that it was over.
I now need to go back and read all of Abby Jimenez's backlist because I cannot get enough of her writing and characters.

Oh My Goodness! I'm so mad at myself for taking so long to get to this one. I absolutely adored this. One of my favourite books of the year for sure. I loved both Alexis and Daniel's individual stories, and then how they ended up coming together. The communication between this pair was outstanding, it's not very often you see this kind of honesty and communication between two MC's in a book so it was a breath of fresh air. I'm very excited for Bri's story in Yours Truly and will be making it a priority book. Abby can do no wrong. Another 5 star book from her.

My review:

Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez is the 4th book, with some of the same characters popping up.  I have loved every book, and I'm looking forward to her next book due out later this year!

These are contemporary romances, written with humour and empathy.  I found the characters to be well rounded, and very believable.  I was interested in their lives and I was cheering them on.

It's a fun, easy read, and would be perfect on holiday!

I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review, so my thanks to NetGalley and to Little, Brown Book Group.

I loved this! Abby brings towns to life in her romcoms, and this book made me want to move to yet another rural American town faster than you could say “cosy romcom”.

Would thoroughly recommend for a heartwarming read about finding yourself after an abusive relationship.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher!

I loved this book, it might be my favourite Abby Jimenez book to date! As soon as I started reading it I couldn’t put it down and stayed up far too late to finish it in one sitting.
Definitely recommend

Thanks to NetGalley and Little Brown for the ARC of this book.

This is an enjoyable romance with a very familiar premise; big town career lady falls for hunky, impossibly perfect, small town carpenter, but how can they have a future when they come from two such different worlds?

It’s very predictable and the resolution to the couple’s issues is obvious throughout the book. However, the journey to the inevitable conclusion is fun. I especially enjoyed the depiction of the the lead male, Daniel, who is considerate, forgiving, cooks, cleans and is perfect in every way. It’s amusing the impossible standards for men who romance novels set. The book also benefits from covering the more serious topic of abusive relationships in a sensitive way which adds depth to the basic narrative.

A quick and easy read that I found myself picking up after a long day to unwind. The characters are beautifully written and I came to love them within the first few pages and was rooting for them all the way to the end. At times I wanted to stop reading because I just wanted the experience to go on for longer.

This was the most perfect romcom book I've read in ages. I devoured it in one sitting as I was hooked on Alexis's and Daniel's stories from the first few pages and had to find out if they'd end up together. It had charm, humour and cute pets in pyjamas, what more could you want?! I haven't read anything else Abby Jiminez has written but I will certainly be going back and reading everything she has ever written.

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy

I really enjoyed this book, I liked the main characters and the complications introduced to the narrative. I also love that the same town had a personality and chose its 'people'. I would love to see more books based in this small town!

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Loved Daniel as the love interest. The town was so cute and the people in it gave off such cosy vibes. I loved the dynamic between the two main characters but perhaps their love happened a bit too fast to make it a little less believable? The backstory of emotional abuse added to the story and gave Alexis a bit of a softer side to understand the reasons for her actions

I have been a fan of Abby Jimenez since reading ‘The Friend Zone’ series and this was another huge hit. A quick and easy read with some great characters. I would definitely recommend picking this one up. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

This was an easy 5 star read for me. I honestly loved everything about it and have not stopped thinking about how perfect it was. ⁣

I loved Abby Jimenez's writing style and I love these characters she's created. They had amazing banter and I became so attached and invested in their relationship. The side characters were so unique and memorable which is always such a big plus for me! ⁣

This book is not just a romance, it deals with a lot of topics such as dealing with an emotionally abusive ex and an overbearing father.⁣

If you love a good romance then go pick this one up! You will not regret it! ⁣

An almost perfect balance between a romcom romance and a drama. With the heavy intense element with a past relationship issues and it’s abusive nature and the light of a new unforeseen relationship.
Alexis’ parents are awful and makes me cringe just thinking about them and the world she lives in but Daniel brings not just the romance but clarity for Alexis and it wonderfully written by Jimenez

Part of Your World is told in dual perspectives- Daniel and Alexis- who have a 9 year age gap, 2 hour location difference and live in extremely different worlds.
He is a tattooed, handyman/b&b manager who is a pillar of the small town he lives in. A town that is idyllic and beautifully described- where magic courses through the streets and amongst its residents.

Alexis is the next in line to represent generations of family medical professionals- the image and name of the renowned hospital lies in her hands. She has the Kardashian home, designer clothes and is surrounded by wealthy, judgmental people who have tendencies to use their power as a form of manipulation.

An unfortunate car incident causes their worlds to collide. And what a beautiful, rollercoaster ride it is.
I loved that we see their characters flourish as a result of blending their lives, showing how people from varying backgrounds can teach eachother how to be better- in a supportive way. I also loved how Jimenez mirrored the main character issues through the smaller (but equally important) characters. Once again, extending the emotional journey they are each on and offering insight from multiple perspectives- it is as though their issues clarify the need for change in the protagonists, and therefore those around them.

Finally, I am forever blown away by Jimenez's ability to successfully and respectfully address hard topics- with abuse being the strongest thread through this storyline. She will always be a "go to" author for me.
