This was an easy 5 star read for me. I honestly loved everything about it and have not stopped thinking about how perfect it was.
I loved Abby Jimenez's writing style and I love these characters she's created. They had amazing banter and I became so attached and invested in their relationship. The side characters were so unique and memorable which is always such a big plus for me!
This book is not just a romance, it deals with a lot of topics such as dealing with an emotionally abusive ex and an overbearing father.
If you love a good romance then go pick this one up! You will not regret it!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

An almost perfect balance between a romcom romance and a drama. With the heavy intense element with a past relationship issues and it’s abusive nature and the light of a new unforeseen relationship.
Alexis’ parents are awful and makes me cringe just thinking about them and the world she lives in but Daniel brings not just the romance but clarity for Alexis and it wonderfully written by Jimenez

Part of Your World is told in dual perspectives- Daniel and Alexis- who have a 9 year age gap, 2 hour location difference and live in extremely different worlds.
He is a tattooed, handyman/b&b manager who is a pillar of the small town he lives in. A town that is idyllic and beautifully described- where magic courses through the streets and amongst its residents.
Alexis is the next in line to represent generations of family medical professionals- the image and name of the renowned hospital lies in her hands. She has the Kardashian home, designer clothes and is surrounded by wealthy, judgmental people who have tendencies to use their power as a form of manipulation.
An unfortunate car incident causes their worlds to collide. And what a beautiful, rollercoaster ride it is.
I loved that we see their characters flourish as a result of blending their lives, showing how people from varying backgrounds can teach eachother how to be better- in a supportive way. I also loved how Jimenez mirrored the main character issues through the smaller (but equally important) characters. Once again, extending the emotional journey they are each on and offering insight from multiple perspectives- it is as though their issues clarify the need for change in the protagonists, and therefore those around them.
Finally, I am forever blown away by Jimenez's ability to successfully and respectfully address hard topics- with abuse being the strongest thread through this storyline. She will always be a "go to" author for me.

Well what do I say? This is another absolute gem from a queen of the genre. Let’s start with Daniel- he’s a bit of a hotty!! I love him and loved him from the beginning.
This is fun, steamy whilst containing some real life issues. This is where Jiminez excels- this is a gorgeous book and one I will be recommending.
Alexis is a medical professional, from a wealthy family who has split from her marriage. I love this fairytale and gorgeous characters. The animals thrown in are an added bonus for me. This is a gem to read and has definitely lifted my mood.
This is witty, intelligent and a book that will leave you with a big smile. I am a huge fan of this author and this book is definitely on the list for favourite of hers. I have devoured every page of this one.
This is a must for the TBR.

As always, Abby Jimenez delivered. This is one of my favourite books of the year.
This is her best one yet if I am being honest. She is slowly moving into the Emily Henry space that I simply ADORE.
5 stars.

There is not a thing that Abby writes that I won't read.
This book is a gem - and I mean who doesn't need a baby goat in PJ's in their lives!!!
A rich, city girl meets a country boy and fall in love - 2 worlds collide in a massive way.
Will she move to the country or will be give up the only place he knows to be with her?
The characters build in depth and we just fall so in love with both of them.

This is one of my favourite books that I’ve read this year so far.
It reminded me SO much of the first season of Virgin River, the characters, the setting, the small town and the homey feeling and just all around heartwarming vibe. The writing was just the loveliest and took me so far into this little world the book created.
I’ve never read a book by the author before but I absolutely loved this and would really love to read more from her now.
From the blurb…
“After a wild bet, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who's ten years younger than her and as casual as they come - the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And yet their chemistry is undeniable.
While her ultra-wealthy parents want her to carry on the family legacy of world-renowned surgeons, Alexis doesn't need glory or fame. She's fine with being a 'mere' ER doctor. And every minute she spends with Daniel and the tight-knit town where he lives, she's discovering just what's really important. Yet letting their relationship become anything more than a short-term fling would mean turning her back on her family and giving up the opportunity to help thousands of people.
Bringing Daniel into her world is impossible, and yet she can't just give up the joy she's found with him either. With so many differences between them, how can Alexis possibly choose between her world and his?”

I recently picked up a book by Abby Jimenez and found myself devouring her whole series in two days! So when the opportunity to read Part of your world came along I clicked before I read anything about the synopsis etc. I needn't have worried as this is probably one of my favourite Abby Jimenez books yet.
Not only are these books cute and fluffy but they also deal with a lot of deeper issues and are done really well.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves romance with a little bit of depth.
You'll also fall in love with Alexis and (especially) Daniel. I think he's what his known as a big cinnamon roll lol

I read Part of Your World earlier this month and really enjoyed it. It's got romance and comedy as you'd expect in a rom-com, but Abby Jimenez is also not afraid to address more serious issues (emotional abuse, domestic violence).
I liked the dual POV narration, and having the small town imbued with a kind magic added a bit of fairytale glitter to Alexis and Daniel's story. This is the first book I've read by Abby Jimenez, but I'll definitely be looking up some of her other titles.

This story introduces us to Alexis Montgomery, who has been tapped to carry on her family legacy of world-renowned surgeons. She and her brother, Derek, have been groomed since childhood to be the next generation to lead their prestigious hospital into the next century, and then Derek bails out (with a very good reason might I say).
This isn’t just a romcom, this is Abby Jimenez style. Yes you get rom and plenty of com (usually Hunter, the adorable dog) but you also get issues. In this case it is mental abuse and domestic violence which the author handles well and yet you feel the character's pain. Abby Jimenez clearly demonstrates that this can happen to anyone. The author also shows via Alexis the difficulties and inequities in medical provision, would there were more solutions like those offered here.
This one is a must-read romance I highly recommend!

I went into this with nothing but love for Abby Jimenez. There hasn’t been a book that she has done that I haven’t loved.
Part of your world has raised my expectations of what I want from life. Daniel is an absolute dream and everything you could want from a romcom.
I loved seeing Ali figure her worth and getting what she wants. Abby handled the matters of abuse with grace and the fact that she showed the different sides of abuse really mattered. Emotional abuse is just as valid and to finally see that represented in a book in this manner really shined a light on it.
I love Abby’s writing and I can not wait to read Bri’s book!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Part of Your World review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
I have seen this book hyped up on Bookstagram and Booktube for a few months now, and it is for a very good reason. This was my first Abby Jimenez read and I absolutely fell in love with her writing style, her characters were beautifully written d there were so many layers to this stunning novel.
This book was full of possibility. The opposites attract element made me super happy and the “will they, won’t they” had me gripped and rooting for them from the start.
I will say, although this is a fluffy romance, there is so, so much more to it, such as emotional and domestic abuse, so if you are sensitive to that, please check the trigger warnings.
Definitely read this is you like:
💙 Age gap romances
💙 Flirty banter
💙 Will-they-won’t-they romance
💙 Found family
💙 Laugh-out-loud one liners
💙 Baby goats in pyjamas
In Part of Your World, we follow Alexis and Daniel who are both at two totally different ends of the financial spectrum. Alexis, 37, comes from money and works at one of the worlds most prestigious hospitals, whilst Daniel, 28, is living in a small apartment, in a small town, runs a B&B and does carpentry on the side. Their lives are way too different for them to ever be a couple, but their feelings are incredibly strong. Can they put everything aside and become part of each other’s world? Or are they way too different to fit together?
I wanted a book from Bri’s point of view SO badly, her humour had me cackling every single time she spoke, and hearing that she is getting her own book has me on the edge of my seat excited!
I have Life’s Too Short on my physical TBR and it has moved straight to the top! I’m very excited to read it after this beautiful novel!
💙

cw: Emotional abuse, gaslighting, enabling, domestic violence.
Alexis and Daniel shouldn't work. He's a small town carpenter, ten years her junior, she's an ER doctor from a prestigious medical family. But sometimes opposites attract.
This is already one of my favourite books. The humour is, as expected, top-tier. The opening bar scenes, and *that* photo scene with Daniel had my crying laughing. I also adored the banter between Daniel and Alexis. But as always with Abby's writing, there's a ton of emotional depth to the story. Alexis has the weight of her family's expectations on her shoulders. Her father is emotionally abusive, and deeply unlikeable. Meanwhile Daniel is trying to keep his head above water as he pacifies an absent mother. But they work SO well together that I was constantly forming ways for them to be together in my head (way before Alexis I had the exact plan she ultimately came to 😂). The chapters after things came crashing down at the hospital pretty much tore my own heart out. I was in physical pain with both of them. THAT'S how good the writing is. You feel their heartbreak.
I fell for Daniel pretty much immediately. He was SO honest, SO pure, and such a GOOD man. Which is precisely why I struggled occasionally with Alexis. I completely empathised with her situation, hated the way she was emotionally abused by her ex and father, and understood the conflict she felt. However, I hated how little of her life she bothered to explain to Daniel. I realise it was part of the plot, but I feel like she could have at least answered a couple of Daniel's questions. Her internal dialogue managed to explain it, so I just wish she'd told him as well. That said, I loved her journey. Her realisation of just how privileged a life she'd had, and her evolution from pampered princess to part of Daniel's world was truly lovely to witness.
Many of the scenes in Wakan have an almost ethereal quality to them, and that's a testament to Abby Jimenez's often visually poetic writing. I particularly loved the nature/supernatural elements of Wakan. From the unexpected acorns and thunderstorms, to the dragonflies constantly darting around. It felt cinematic.
And, of course there's a dog. Very reminiscent of Tess 😉 Plus, a baby goat. In pj's! Also, I urge everyone to read the Q&A at the end. The origin of the name Wakan? 👌🏼
Cannot wait for Briana's story!
P.s. The Easter eggs! Seriously. One of the things I love most about Abby Jimenez's writing is the way she interweaves characters from her other stories. For those who pre-ordered POYW there was a special bonus chapter available for 48hrs, and both of the characters involved are significant in this and another story, plus there's mention of a couple of other characters.

BOOK REVIEW: Part of your world by Abby Jiminez
4.5 Stars
Abby Jiminez does it again! I have loved every single book she has written and "Part of Your World" was no exception!
The story is based around emergency medic Alexis who is from a priviledged family of world renowned surgeons. She is coming out of an abusive relationship and drowning under pressure from her parents. On the way back from a funeral, she ends up driving into a ditch. Her saviour is Daniel, a local carpenter who runs his family's B&B. Here starts their rollercoaster ride of a romance. Expect tons of romance, more serious themes including domestic and familial abuse, parental abandonment and mental health issues.
Our leading lady Alexis is such an interesting character. She has so many layers and although at times I wanted to shake her, I really loved her. She has a caring nature and she grew a lot through the book. Daniel, our lead male is an ultimate book boyfriend! I ADORE him. He is kind and caring, selfless, a hardworker and confident but not arrogant. He also has the funniest dog (very similar to Abby's own dog Tess who you should definitely go watch videos of on her IG!) and is hand feeding a baby goat...what is not to love?!
The romance was wonderful and completely swept me away. I personally would have liked at least one more sexy scene rather than fade to black, but it isn't a big issue.
I loved the side characters as well, especially Alexis' best friend Bri and Daniel's friends. I really hope we get another book or two in this series so we can see more of them.
The writing was excellent, as always with Abby Jiminez! The humour was hilarious and I actually Iaughed out loud. I did think there was a little repetition that didn't need to be there and so this wasn't quite a 5 star read.
Overall, a fun, cute, sexy and witty book that is hard to put down! I really recommend all of Abby's books to romance lovers that like some excellent humour and some more emotional themes as well.
Please note that I was #gifted this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Part of Your World is another hit for Abby Jimenez. I can always count on this author to make me swoon and laugh all in the space of a single page, always finishing her books with a huge smile on my face.
Part of Your World is a new series by Jimenez, leaving behind the characters we know from Friend Zone and introducing us to a completely new cast. Alexis Montgomery is on the way home from a funeral when her car runs off the road. Luckily she is saved by Daniel, the very handsome, but much younger mayor/carpenter/b&b owner of the nearby town Wakan. Alexis is immediately drawn to Daniel, and he to her but they come from completely different worlds and finding a middle ground truly puts their relationship to the test.
I adored Daniel, he is just the sweetest hero I've read of in a while. The way he cares and looks after everyone in the town, and the way he fights for Alexis is so heart-warming. Alexis, too, is such a strong character. She has dealt with a lot of hardship in her past (TWs: domestic violence, parental neglect) but the way she rises above it all and overcomes everything in the end is truly inspiring.
The romance was nicely done, although there were a couple of instances that were a bit frustrating (I could have done without Alexis' friends, but the squirrel scene was just hilarious), there was a lot of tension and some really sweet moments between the two of them. I was a bit leery about how the relationship progressed in the beginning but I should have believed in Jimenez because the development was beautifully done.
Overall another wonderful romance by the author, with her special blend of humour and serious topics, against the new, magical setting of Wakan. I cannot wait to get back and learn more about the town, its residences, and see Bri get her happy ending in book 2!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Oh my word! This hero is one big cinnamon roll hero. He is so freaking cute, sincere, shy and genuine. I loved this story! I loved how mature they both were in the way they communicated their fears and obstacles, how he showed how much he liked her without any abandon and how they let themselves fall in love.

Having read Abby Jimenez’s previous books I had high expectations for Part of Your World and it did not disappoint. The book follows Alexis and Daniel who are from two very different worlds and their journey together. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend! Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read and review.

Alexis meets Daniel after he rescues her when her car breaks down. She runs after their night together, as she thinks they are just too different. She is soon back to see him again, but will they have a future together?
I loved how it felt like the town was trying to keep her there, and also the new friends she made along the way.
Looking forward to the next book.

Absolutely gushing over this book 🤩 There isn’t enough stars for Abby Jimenez’s upcoming book PART OF YOUR WORLD, we will have to settle on 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I LOVED THIS BOOK 💓
Told from alternating POVs of Alexis and Daniel, they are from completely different worlds- Alexis is an ER doctor, from a wealthy/prestigious family and Daniel is a small town carpenter. Despite their differences (and there are many!) opposites attract in this magical story. The banter, the chemistry, and boyyyy the flirty steam 🔥 I loved every. single. page! I also love how Abby’s books always weave in important topics too - domestic abuse is at the forefront in this one, and some of it was 💔
Get ready to laugh, smile, and feel butterflies through this highly addictive read, which you can snag yourself TOMORROW 👀
💭 Have you read any of Abby’s books? Got this one on pre-order? 😉

This is the first book I’ve read by Abby Jimenez and I’m definitely going to read more now!
At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like it as I’m more into a good slow burn romance. That changed quickly as I just couldn’t see a way to resolve their Romeo/Juliet romance.
I felt alexis’ frustration at the situation and I HATED her father.
The other characters in the book are easy to keep track of and I look forward to reading the spin off book based on Alexis’ friend Bri.
