I completely devoured New Beginnings at the Old Bakehouse, the latest in the Love Heart Lane series. In this novel, we focus on Cameron, Molly and their delightful son George. When an evening with local clairvoyant Martha predicts scandal to arrive with the incoming winter storms, Molly doesn’t know what to think. Heavily pregnant she really doesn’t need any drama but following a chance encounter with a sixteen year old homeless girl, she takes her in and finds secrets from the past beginning to manifest in the present. I adored this book. The authors style of writing draws you in and you feel you are totally immersed in Heartcross. I love how each novel in the series focuses on a particular main character, but also introduces new characters and interspersed them with old favourites. A heartwarming read that you will find impossible to put down. Thank you to NetGalley, One More Chapter and the author for the chance to review.

I never tire of visiting Heartcross, as they say once you go to Heartcross you never want to leave, what a true statement!.

I absolutely adore the Love Heart Lane series, in this installment we visit Molly and Cam who we met in book six Primrose Park so was lovely to catch up with them and see how life has changed for them.

I thought Bree was such a sweetheart and her story is heartbreaking.

Dixie is a wise old woman and look foward to reading more about her life.

This can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read the series you will be addicted.

With thanks to the publisher and netgalley for an early copy of this wonderful book.

It's no secret how much I love this series and in my opinion it gets better with each new book.

This book is set in the bakery at Heartcross which meant my tummy was rumbling for much of it. Chocolate bread anyone? Touching sensitively on the topics of testicular cancer and homelessness Christie really has written another gem.

This story welcomes us back to Heartcross and revisits old friends we made in Primrose Park - Cam, Dixie and Molly. The addition of Bree was a welcome one, as I love seeing new characters come to live amongst the familiar ones we all know and love.

Another in the Loveheart Lane series of books and another winner. So good to be back in Heartcross again with Molly, Cam and Dixie this time and life in the bakery. We meet some new characters too. A very enjoyable read.

This was a very fresh story situated in the familiar fictional Scottish location of Heartcross, this time featuring baker Cam and his wife Molly. Set during a heavy snowfall this offers a very relevant reminder of how a home is a luxury for some and how easily everything can be lost. Sixteen year old Bree was a fantastic character with a strong story alongside Cam who had his own worries leaving Molly stuck between them both. With some great backstories to all their families this might only have been set over a few days but it offered a brilliant character read. 9/10

And just like that the old charm of the Love Heart Lane series is back. I was a bit worried after the last book seemed a tad mean with kind of rude and vicious characters. But this one is back to the nice characters with great stories. Bree is a good addition to this series and I look forward to reading more about her and the new postman Ash. A very cozy read to curl up with.

Absolutely loved it. The bakery you could imagine and smell through the book. The homeless parts were sad and happy. We do judge too quickly. The twists with Molly and Bree had you on the edge of your seat. Fab read..

Quirky characters who are likable...a story that moves quickly...secrets...family...love and romance...the homeless...mystery and intrigue...elements of this book. This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Enjoy...
