This book was hard to finish. I really liked the potential it had, but everything just felt a bit too much. There was a lot of internal rambling and after a while it just got tedious. Overall, even though I had been so excited about this, I'm sad to say that this was a bit of a miss.

Thank you to the publisher for kindly providing me with an ARC via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I enjoyed this book and very much liked the story but I did find it hard to get into at the beginning. I’m glad I persevered though.

I enjoyed the humour and wit in this latest romcom and found it to be a light and fun read. The pull of home in Northumberland is strong where Millie is concerned and although she has moved to London to fulfil her writing ambitions, she spends a lot of time travelling home. The irony is that you realise that her visits home are probably more for her benefit than her Mum's who seems to be moving on and establishing her own needs.

I enjoyed the plotline and the friendship which develops with Joe. Sparked by a chance meeting, I looked forward to each of Millie's journeys to see what would happen next. Millie and Joe have a different attitude to how much of their lives they want to share on social media. You can also compare their family relationships. Joe has strong ties with his parents and sibling, but is looking forward to his future life in London. The dynamic in the Millie's family is interesting with Millie's sister avoiding visiting home for her own reasons and Millie looking back to her childhood. With a lively plot and likeable characters, this is an enjoyable late summer read.

I liked the first part of this book a lot - the will they meet again, how will they find each other trope. However once the relationship between the characters developed, it got a bit awkward and I found the relationship being written about for a column very cringe. The characters also seemed to invent problems which weren’t really there and that was a bit irritating. It was a cute romantic read but nothing mind blowing.

I liked the concept of this book. A chance meeting in a train station, instant chemistry between the characters, not exchanging details and then hoping to meet again on the platform.

It is a sweet book, but it wasn't for me. I missed the tension. I missed banter between the characters.

If you like romances that slowly unfold, this might be for you.

I really wanted to love this book because I love a good romcom. However, the plot moved too slowly in this book. I could not hang on with it. I did not finish the book.

While I found this to be a cute, quick easy read that I was in need of, I just didn't love it.
I liked the idea of a meet cute at the train station. But as the story progressed I found myself a little bored.
Joe and Millie felt too insta love from the moment they met. It wasn't a gradual thing, which in turn meant that I just didn't feel or see any chemistry between them.
Also the "break up" close to the end was just annoying and didn't really add anything to the overall story.
I can see why others would love this book, but I wish there was more gradual growth between the characters and not as forced.

I really liked both Joe and Millie, and really appreciated the fact that we got to hear from both their perspectives. This enhanced the romance but also the drama and the connection with both characters.

I really identified with Millie’s desire to feel successful at work whilst maintaining a close bond with her family, especially with what they’d been through.

I also connected with Joe’s view of focusing on the future and making the most of life. I also really liked hearing from his point of view as this is quite original and unusual for a story in this genre.

The way they are thrown together is fun, entertaining and original and I loved seeing how the story developed. There is always the concern lingering of how Joe might feel about being featured in a magazine, which added to the drama.

There is adequate depth to this book and also a little bit of the thrill of the chase, plus some spice, which all make for a perfectly balanced romantic fiction book!

I highly recommend this book and author to fans of Portia Macintosh, Paige Toon and Nicola May.

A strong story of finding yourself and meeting your goals in life even if they change is wrapped throughout a sweet romance of layered themes. You have a bit of love at first site, meet cute, friends to lovers, strangers on a train and opposites attract all wrapped into the story to make a layered and delightfully entertaining story. In this day and age where everything is app driven or text driven, it is fun to see a young couple meet in person and continue their story without being able to turn it into a high-speed text game of will they or won't they. The female lead is both humorous and realistic with her fears, ambition, desire to please and desire to live her life to the fullest. While I would definitely categorize this as a rom com, it also fits well into women's fiction as the main character strives to find just who she is really meant to be while also stumbling through a new potential love life. This is my second book by this author and it just made me a bigger fan! She has such a way of creating realistic characters that are easily relatable and lovable! I can't wait to read more from her soon!

Must haves for a romcom - a meet cute, a misunderstanding, a happy ending. These are my basics in a book to fall in love with and Meet Me on Platform 3 has them all and much more!
Millie and Joe are such sweethearts, I loved their chemistry and seeing the story from both their viewpoints.
The column that Millie writes was really funny, to be honest I'd love to read the book that Millie writes!
It had all the makings and the warmth of a Hallmark special and I could easily see this made into a movie!

Millie is struggling with her column when she has a little meet cute on platform 3. Has she met the one. Her column takes off and suddenly she's re-evaluating her whole life but what about Joe?

Aww what a cute story. I really liked a previous story by this author showed this would be as good. It was but I do like Hot desk more. That being said this was a fun story. It follows the standard plot line but I really liked how the ending showed a working together rather than being forced to compromise. The plot was steady and told by both Millie and Joe. A fun read.

A romance about two people who accidentally meet at a train station. Set in present time in the UK. Millie lives in London and writes a column for a newspaper. Millie is attracted to a man she saw at the railway station and writes about a humorous incident of how she might have met him. Her editor loves the article and wants more interactions between Millie and the mystery man.
This is full of humorous situations as Millie tries to find the mystery man again.
This was so much fun to read, I loved the way the characters were developed and how they interacted with each other. This was a romance about families, friendship and bereavement.

I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources who very kindly forwarded me an arc copy of this book, for my Kindle, in return for my honest review.

This book is actually book 9 from the ‘Zara Stoneley Romantic Comedy Collection’

Meet Me On Platform 3 is a wonderful rom com that had me laughing along with it and made my heart happy.
The characters, Millie and Joe were very real and down to earth and I can imagine their story happening for real!
Millie is the fun one and Joe is a bit more serious but between them it seems to work!
A wonderful, easy read and I found myself quickly turning the pages to find out what happens next!
This was a fun, light read and a perfect little rom com…..

This was a really cute RomCom story that had me rooting for Millie right from the start. She writes a really funny column, partially based on her own experiences, but sometimes embellished. This reminded me of Carrie in Sex and the City, only her personality was a lot more Bridget Jones style, but even better in my opinion.

I could easily picture this being made into a movie that I would love to watch!

Millie's chance encounter with Joe and then the whole will they/won't they meet again and can anything ever come of it, espcially with there differences was a joy to read. With chapters written from both perspectives I got to know and love both characters really quickly.

Millie and Joe are both from Northumberland and working in London, after a meet cute at King’s Cross station they can’t stop thinking about each other, but was this a chance encounter or will they see each other again, and if they do, are there feeling reciprocated.

This story was great, full of lovable characters, feel-good factor and romance, that leaves you smiling throughout.

Millie is a journalist with a confessions column, she uses her chance meeting with Joe as inspiration, and these columns are so much fun, yet they bring conflict to her and to Joe.

From the will-they-won’t-they aspect from the story, and the fact it is told from both their perspectives, we get to see full character, not just the top layer, but their vulnerabilities too which is what I think makes us a reader fall in love with them, and root for them.

An easy read romance that is perfect to curl up with, you won’t want to put it down.

A captivating love story that will make you feel good. Funny Millie and serious Joe are trying to find out what is really important in life. You can't help but be warmed by their story.
