I think this kit is great for those who want to read this book for their book club. Included is discussion topics, printable bookmarks and a few other things. If I was to start a book club myself, this would be a great addition to it.

WONDERFUL!!! The Firekeeper's Daughter is one of our state's young adult book award nominees, and having a book club resource to accompany it is a valuable resource!

Unfortunately, I won't be writing an enormous review as I decided to DNF it.

I think that there's so much potential with this story, but it feels like I don't really fit the target audience for this novel. I don't feel comfortable writing much more as I don't want to affect other people's opinion in a negative way after DNF'ing it, I feel like it wouldn't fit true as I personally couldn't finish it.

I think the author's style is absolutely amazing, I will definitely be looking out for Angeline Boulley's other work.

I am a huge fan of this book and am planning to use it for the teen book group at my library during the school year. This kit will definitely be helpful and I think the teens will really enjoy all the extra info!

This is a book I don't usually read, Teens & YA but I was drawn to the cover! Yes, I know "Don't judge a book by its cover!" But something about it was saying read me! Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley and Narrated by Isabella Star LaBlanc..
I enjoyed it and so glad I had a chance to get the audiobook and book to read. Plus it was a great book for my Bookclub which I hold every week with my close friends. They enjoyed this book as well.

The Firekeeper's Daughter covers sexual assault, drug use suicide, death of a loved one, addiction, racism., and "fat phobia" - which this part of the book I hated!
However, this book was hard to get into but stay with it and it's a good read.

I just adore these book kits! I love all the insights and think that they're a wonderful way to enhance the reading experience, and in no way should you miss this particular one!

This is such a fun, engaging book club kit! I love reading interviews with authors, and hearing about what inspired them to write their novel. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, the kit is easily printable/accessible and I loved how Netgalley began including on their sites. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

I've said it before and I'll say it again : I absoluelty love these kits. I run a book group that is all about the intersectionality of gender, race, class etc where we read fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and plays that dabble in an assortment of genres for ages twelve and up. A kit like this makes it 10x easier to prep for my discussion that month with a sort of guideline for what sort of questions can be asked on top of the author interviews. I also really enjoy the handouts that these kits provide. The book marks and even book related lists are great for patrons wanting more from the book group.

This was an great resource that I am excited to share with my Not So Serious Book Club! We all really enjoyed this book and it was super cool to be able to read a letter from the author. I enjoyed the interview with Boulley and the discussion guide, as well suggestions on what to read next.

I will look out for other book club kits from We Are Bookish in the future as I found the content warnings and synopsis very useful. Overall excellent addition to any book club discussion of "Firekeeper's Daughter"!
