This book was different from the books I typically read but it was cute and a lot of fun for me to read. I didn’t read it through netgalley, but I love the book.

I thought the book, "If the Shoe Fits, by Julie Murphy" was included with the Kit. I didn't realize this was only a small booklet of questions that pertain to the novel for a book club.

I am putting three stars as I was unable to read the novel, however, I think the concept of this is a great idea. It should just be more clear that the book isn't actually included in the kit.

What a wonderful kit for a book club! I haven't read the book yet. I wanted to see what was offered and how I can use it. It really had many activities to use and I enjoyed the interview questions and discussion topics,

This is by far my favorite book club kit and the one my book club enjoyed the most. It has such a perfect mix of thoughtful insight about the story and fun activities to make us feel like Cinderella ourselves! I loved the bookmark design, which cut the cover in half. I also thought that the fashion show with Disneybounding was such a fun and unique way to get everyone excited from the beginning of the meeting. I really enjoyed our discussion about some of the prominent themes in this book like fatphobia. What I really wish we had was more cocktail recipes because we loved the one in the kit! I highly recommend this to level up your next book club meeting!

This is super cute. I kinda downloaded as thinking of starting a book club with some friends and if we go ahead this will be really helpful.

I loved the whole package. I don’t usually like a retelling but this was so good! I just wish there was more interaction between the two

It was a cute, quick and easy read.
But it was not super amazing like it would stay in my mind and i do not think i feel for reading it again.

The first book I read in the Meant to Be series was Jasmine Guillory's By the Book. After that, I was hooked! I knew I wanted to check out If the Shoe Fits, by Julie Murphy. I love fairy tales and re-imaginings, particularly when paired with important contemporary topics. The book club guide offers some thoughtful questions and insights into Murphy's process. I enjoyed learning about how she felt drawn to the idea of Cinderella and how she put her own unique spin on the tale. I really enjoy the Meant To Be series and thought this was an excellent book guide. Thank you to We Are Bookish and Netgalley for a free book kit in exchange for honest feedback.

I liked the focus of this book group guide on the retelling aspect and I think it would do a really good job of encouraging discussion around reality TV. I would have loved to have seen more discussion with the author about what's different in moving from YA to adult novels, but I did like the recipes!

I enjoyed this book club kit. It has though-provoking discussion questions and fun features. I especially love the "How far would you make it in 'Before Midnight'?" quiz - I'd love a quiz like this in all the book club kits!

This was an awesome guide for my monthly book club! I have never seen a publisher do this for a book besides the small little sections that you usually get at the end of a book, so I am very impressed! Thanks so much!

i didn’t read that book yet but i love those bookish kits, making me really exited to start !!! this book seems so great, it’s for sure one of my next read <3 it’s really useful (the bookmarks are just so cute) and really well thought :)

I love all the additional extras that go beyond the book discussion. I would have liked more or different suggestions for further reading; they felt limited and it looked like they were all contemporary. I coordinate multiple book clubs and I love when books have kits or even discussion questions and/or reading guides. Yes, as readers we can come up with our own questions, but these kinds of documents can provide additional inspiration.

This is genuinely SO fun and something I’ll be suggesting for my clubs next read! This guide is filled with not only fantastic questions - but the Before Midnight quiz was adorable and the shoe design challenge is SO fun and ties in so well. I also love the future recommendations and the inclusion of diverse stories and authors! Such a great book club compendium!

I genuinely loved this book. Reading a rom com that also left me feeling confident and sexy in my own (plus sized) skin? That’s a good read. Plus, any fan of the bachelor will love the premise! I also really enjoyed that though this was a play on Cinderella, the did not make the step family “wicked”, but instead they were lovely and supportive.

Definitely recommend for a light fun read with a lot of heart.
