This is a genuinely useful guide. I found myself adopting the strategies and insight every day. Has it saved some of my friendships? Well worth a read, even if you don’t have difficulty arguing…you will still learn a lot.

I found this book and its main principle, that you do not have to attend every argument that you're invited to, very helpful. As someone who is neurodivergent I find a great deal of social communication very confusing and don't always understand how I have become broiled in an argument as well as finding conflict very distressing. This book gave me greater insight into why arguments occur and either how to prevent them, or how to have them in a healthy fashion so that they end up in a win-win for all parties, rather than a win-lose situation.

My husband and I are very alike and both have trauma and bad habits due to life and past relationships, this book was very insightful and has helped us immensely. You have to put in the work and put what the book says to use but if you do, its great. Great resource for any relationship in life.

An informative book reiterating the basics of interacting with each other to improve communication and relationships. There isn’t a lot of new data in the book but it is a helpful resource in controlling emotions.

Thank you NetGalley, TCK Publishing, and Jerry Manney for the electronic ARC.

Most of the information in this book is basic and things that we should already know to do, but we don't. So, I used it as a refresher of the things I know and don't do!! I feel it is a good resource for any type of relationship in your life. If things start to go off track, refer back to this book and get your life back on track.

I felt like I was reading a module from Psych 101...it was just very basic information that most people probably already know, but don't heed. I suppose it could be good in a cognitive-behavioral sense, if they are reading it again and again, reminding themselves to stop arguing...
