My Garden is a great book for toddlers to learn new words, all garden related. The pages are bright and full of colour and the pictures are interesting. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A delightful book that has been very well thought out. Although a book aimed at under 3's my daughter who is 5 really enjoyed exploring this book with me and reading the words on each page.

I'm a big fan of books that are based around the cyclical nature of our world - exploring the seasons. This book begins in Spring and goes through the seasons in turn. Each double page spread has ten words. Some pages are of a seasonal scene whereas others are lists of words appropriate to the time of year. There are plenty of nouns for children to increase their vocabulary but there are also adjectives and verbs. The adjectives often depicting feelings to develop children's emotional literacy.

It's refreshing to see incidental representation in this book. The cover image is of a black child with visible hearing aids. There's also a character with glasses. My favourite spread is at the back of the book in Winter. it's a beautiful picture with children who appear to be with grandparents with words like 'hugging' and 'jolly'; when did we get to a point where 'fire pit' became more every day language. I love it! The illustrations are fun and vibrant. There's plenty for children to explore and discover on each page.

Thank you to #NetGalley and #HappyYak for my eARC.

This is the second book in this series that we read with my daughter. It's a colourful picture book with cute illustrations we both enjoy. Most of the time we read only a part of the book because we start chatting about the pictures and then end up talking about the same page for half an hour.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for an ARC.

My daughter and I absolutely loved this amazing children's book, which shows life in the garden at Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The book is bright and colourful, and easy to read, with really cute graphics which show children, insects, animals and nature. There are different single words on each page, which describe things that are on the page. Each page is a delight, and full of joy and happiness. This is a fantastic book for young children of any age. Even though it is aimed at toddlers, or nursery aged children, my daughter loved it and she is nearly 6 years old. I also loved it, and I am 49 years old. I highly recommend this book to people of any age, as it is just so much fun, and it will bring you so much joy as you look through each page.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This picture book is really cute!

It is perfect for toddlers to start being familiar with the garden, its elements, the different seasons, and the many types of animals you can find there.

The pictures are bright, colourful and very stunning!

I also appreciated the diversity. Not only the main character is black, but she is also wearing an hearing aid that I found amazing. Representation is very important and this book did it perfectly.
