Rowan and Jonathan had a kiss when they were younger but when he rejected her she took it very personal, now Rowan is all grown up and decides to find out why Jonathan rejected her by being the one to reject him.
Rowan is getting read for an ultra marathon but when her support buddy has an injury, jonathan offers to step up and support her throughout the race. During the race he realises just how special Rowan is and just how much he wants her in his life. I really enjoyed this story and liked that the heroine wasnt the usual run of the mill it made for an enjoyable read

Reunion with the Brooding Millionaire is the first book in a 3 part series called The Kinley Legacy.

I really enjoyed this story, it had depth to it being the first in a series as you got to know the characters and a bit of background too.

Rowan and Jonathan’s Second Chance Love Story was so cute, you are desperate for her to be brave and just make a move! The ultra 100 mile Marathon part of the story was CRAZY, I couldn’t imagine walking let alone running 200 miles in a day!

I cannot wait for Livia’s Parisian Adventure in the next book, I don’t feel we got to know her well because of her injury so I look forward to that also!

A great, sweet romance that focused on family and regrets and being left with responsibilities and how you handle them. Loved the main characters and their misunderstandings and miscommunication slowly making way for other feelings. However, this felt sweet and romantic rather than hot.

Another lovely read from Ellie Darkins. Exactly why she’s a go to when I want a romantic story featuring a great couple.

I would like to thank Netgalley, Mills and Boon and Ellie Darkins for the E ARC of this book. It was published on the 1st of March 2022.
We meet Rowan as she arrives at her best friend’s brother’s house, to spend the week with her friend before taking part in an ultra-marathon. What she doesn’t expect is for Jonathon (the friend’s brother to be there). Rowan and Jonathon had a moment 7 years earlier that left her wanting more. Jonathon does not seem happy to see her.
During the time she is there her friend injures her ankle and Rowan feels she has to stay to look after her, but that means spending time with Jonathon. As Rowan spends time with Jonathon and he begins to open up to her, she discovers why he is so broody and tries to help.
This was a quick read. I didn’t really enjoy it as there was not much to the story. It was well written but I feel there needed to be more depth to the characters and more character development.

Fabulous romance with interesting, engaging characters.

This is about family, misunderstandings, love, responsibility, and fear. I loved the main characters and thought that as always, the author has written a fabulous story.

Not too sure about the attraction of all that running but the author almost made me get it!

I received an ARC from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Interesting romance with a strong, feisty Roman struggling to overcome a crush on her best friends older brother. The brother isn’t a billionaire but a real, hard working and stumped business owner trying desperately to turn the business to profit. The focus is on the feelings Jonathan and Rowan have for each other but Jonathan isn’t a distant genius and Rowan puts her account brain to work and runs ultra marathons - it’s all so real. The sweaty, achy, teary painful long distant runs add to the true sense of the book.
