Really enjoyed this latest visit to Cornwall loving the new venue at St Felix, a magical island were the weather is doing things that are unexpected.
In comes Sky a meteorologist and “Sonny” a weatherman who has celebrity status among his fans. It’s a journey of enlightenment for both characters as they each open up about hidden disabilities they both have.
Loved this book and was great to briefly encounter old characters throughout the book and meet new ones.
Looking forward to another Cornwall adventure soon.
Highly recommended read

This was a lovely lighthearted and uplifting read set in a magical Cornish seaside village. Meteorologist Sky is easing herself back into work following a long time off due to Ill health and she’s keep to prove her ability to still do her job, she’s less than impressed to learn that as well as a trainee to assist her there’s also weather presenter Sonny who seems a bit too full of himself. The weather activity is surprisingly interesting when it has its little quirks on occasion but the characters more so with the local weather watch not impressed to be moved from their island base so the meteorology team can take over, a grumpy harbourmaster and more than a few lovely locals including some familiar faces. Sky’s illness features quite heavily in this but it certainly increased my awareness and anything that highlights hidden disability is a good thing. Overall this continues the St Felix stories along with their enchanting mysteries and joy in a brilliant way, it’s a very enjoyable and relaxing read.
