This was a gorgeous read with a lot of depth and even more spice! I absolutely loved the blossoming romance between Leo and Owen - they couldn't have been more meant to be. It was lovely to return to familiar faces and see how the other couples were progressing.

Leo Dennison takes over from her mother Moe, while her leg is in a cast, she must find a judge for the chilli contest. But then the athlete she approaches is the one-night stand from a year ago whom she can't get out of her head and pretends he doesn't remember her, this is not as easy as it seems.

But Owen can't get Leo out of his head either, but the accident after they met has left him scarred and scared. But Leo will be the one to show him he can still do anything.

This was a quick read for me with fantastic characters and sentimental moments.
This author explores serious subjects allowing the characters to open up and the narrative to be deep as well as meaningful.

Simone writes another fantastic novel at Rose Bend which I hope to visit again soon. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.

If you like your romances with added spice then this is one for you, it’s not just the chilli competition that’s getting hot let me tell you! In Christmas at Rose Bend we had the mud room scene but I would say that this book is spicier and on more occasions, but if you can be a bit prudish like me don’t let that put you off.

There’s also quite a few emotional moments in this book, first off with Owen coming to terms with the emotional and physical scars left from his recent accident and his childhood to some parts. Leo is also up against it, holding back a secret that she’s held for 8 years while plastering over the cracks to present the perfect and organised front.

The sexual tension between the two of them is off the scales from the very beginning and you can feel it burning through the pages until it reaches its crescendo.

Fire, fear, friendship and a whole lot more come together in this book to create a full on journey that you’ll be wrapped up in

If you are wanting sweetly charming and utterly romantic love stories then you need to read Naima Simone, she is a sparkling star in the romance genre, and I haven't read as many o her books as I really should have but the ones I have read I have loved!

This is a gorgeous story of finding love and moving on after the worst thing in life happens to you, it's about serving grief and loss and full of hope and love and friendship, it's an inspiring and wonderful story which will leave you feeling happy.

There are serious and hard subjects covered but the author handles these subjects with sensitivity and compassion, I just love her writing it's like being given a huge bear hug, The characters are likeable and relatable, they feel very real and I was thoughly invested into their story.

A great story in a magical series!

With Love From Rose Bend by Naima Simone

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Mills & Boon and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Leontyne Dennison is on a love hiatus. And that’s just fine, because perfectionist Leo is hyperfocused on the success of her family’s southern Berkshires inn. Volunteering for Rose Bend’s annual spring festival is certain to boost business—and provide the perfect distraction from men—until Leo comes face-to-face with Owen Stafford, the hottest one-night stand of her life.

A retired professional football player, Owen came to Rose Bend to escape after a devastating car accident ended his career. Enter the woman he hasn’t forgotten in the year since their sizzling night together. When Owen’s parents arrive, threatening his low profile, Leo helps keep the peace by pretending to be Owen’s girlfriend. Rose Bend was never part of Owen’s long game, but Leo’s increasingly convincing TLC is starting to give Owen every reason to stay.

This was my second visit to Rose Bend and it was nice to be back with some familiar characters - I think this would also work quite well as a standalone. Sparks fly high in this perfect escape to a fictional town. A heart-warming read that will tug on your emotions.

Rating 4/5

I didn’t realise that this story was part of a series, but it clearly didn’t show, as it read as a stand alone just beautifully!

A cute story set in the town of Rose Bend that sounds so idyllic and adorable. Leo who works at the family run Inn in the close knit community is entrusted to recruit the local celebrity football player to judge the chilli contest at the town Honey fair.
When she approaches him at his home, she immediately recognises him as the guy she spent a night with a year ago, even with him sporting a scar across his face. In the space of a year, Owen was in a car accident, leaving him with a scar that runs across one side of his face, sending him into a life of a recluse.
His abrasive behaviour towards Leo, doesn’t deter her, even if it does sting that he doesn’t recognise her.

The story covers the pain and trauma that two main characters are carrying but somehow manage to help each other through it. The event of the town pageant adds a light touch to the story which adds to the charm of the small town and its community.

A lovely read which shows the characters development and relationship come together.

I looked forward to this one. Having read the others in the Rose Bdnd series I knew I’d love this one (God would I love to live in this little town). There was a welcome return from past loved characters but could very much be read as a stand-alone. This time the focus is on Leo and out of town football star Owen. The romance was sizzling.and I was sorry to get to the end. More Rose Bend soon please.

Ahhh this was such a cute sports, second chance, small town romance! With Love from Rose bend is the first book I have read by Naima Simone but I am definitely going back to read the others in the series as I enjoyed this book so much.

I loved both Owen and Leo and I liked how trauma was dealt with throughout the story, both physically and mentally. The two main characters had such different ways of dealing with pain from Owen shutting himself off after an accident and hiding from the football world, to Leo throwing herself into everything and living for her Inn business whilst striving for perfection. I loved the idea of them helping each other break out of their moulds and embracing each other and finding their joy in life again! The slow burn between the two was super cute and I liked that they still built up to intimacy despite already having a history.

The Dennison’s were hilarious and I enjoyed all the family moments that occurred. Even seeing Owen help Sonny and the rest of the high school football team improve was so wholesome. And who doesn’t love a small town romance which has a quirky fair celebrating Honey! This book definitely gave me Gilmore Girls vibes from the pageant, to the chilli tasting contest, to the committee meetings, and all the fun loving busy body characters of Rose Bend.

This book shows how you can’t escape fate and how destined Owen and Leo were for each other. They might have had to take a detour in their relationship but it was great to see them come together and help each other thrive not just in love but also in other areas of their lives!

With Love From Rose Bend, the third book in the Rose Bend series, follows the story of Leo and Owen. Leo has always been focused on the family inn and making it a success whilst being there for her family and the community of Rose Bend, so when her mother needs her to step in for her, Leo doesn't hesitate in doing so; except, she doesn't count on coming face to face with the man she'd lost control with one night a year ago. Owen is in Rose Bend to be away from everything his life was before his accident, so when he comes face to face with the woman who knew him as he used to be, he shuts the door in her face - literally.

I absolutely loved being in Rose Bend with Naima Simone once more. She weaves a beautiful story about grief, survival and the beauty of love and community, with moments of joy, laughter, sadness, kinship and plenty of heat. This book was thoroughly enjoyable and a perfect addition to an already brilliant series.

Owen is a former football player in hiding from the world after the accident that caused him to call time on his career. Leo is hiding from adult relationships by being constantly busy running her family’s business. Leo wants Owen to judge a contest at a town festival – but when she turned up at his house to ask him, she realises he’s the man she has a steamy one night stand with a year ago. And it gets slightly more complicated than that as a fake relationship element is added to the mix too. I’ve mentioned before that I like a sports romance and I also like a competent heroine and this ticked my noses in that front. Lovey weekend afternoon reading!

What a gorgeous, romantic and heartwarming story, which made my heart sing. Leo comes across her ex from the past, Owen, and although they don't hit it off again immediately, over time they start to open up to each other again. I enjoyed the setting of the story and the characters, and I look forward to reading more Rose Bend books, as I just love it there!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The setting of this series, Rose Bend is so idyllic and central to the plot, that it’s almost a character in itself. The story is rich with emotion and really gets you thinking. I liked the dual point of view which really gives you an insight into the characters’ mindsets and helps you feel involved in the story. Although this could be read as a standalone, I think it would be best enjoyed if read in order as a series.

Naima Simone has a gift. And that’s creating stories that will stick with you long after you’ve read them. I loved her earlier books as much as I enjoy these new ones.

With love from Rose Bend is the third book in her Dennison family.

Her characters are reliable to a T and their insecurities and vulnerability are always shown throughout the book. But they also grow so much.

Nothing is overdone in this story. Perfect balance of angst, making mistakes and learning from those actions, finding one’s way in life for dreams and daily life mundane scenes, and above all, love. Taking the risk to jump on an opportunity for the well deserved happily ever after.

I loved Leo so much, and, I’m not sure if I would’ve given up on what she had with him, just so he can be happy. That part made me sad but also hopeful because I knew I was reading a romance, so a HEA was to come my way soon.

Always sizzling with great banter, chemistry and love, her stories are a must read for anyone that enjoys romance or not. I recommend it if you want to spend a few wonderful hours lost in a great fictional world.

Owen is in Rose Bend to recover from an accident and hide away.
Leo is surprised to find out he was not honest about who he was last time they met, and hurt that he doesn't remember her.
Both have issues from their past that are keeping them from moving forwards. Will they be able to open up to each other and get a second chance?

I liked how it is told from both of their points of view.

I have not read any of the other books in the series, but I don't think this mattered.

I haven't read any of this series as yet but I think you need to so that you are able to connect with the series.. I still enjoyed reading this but I will be buying the rest to re-read this one in the correct order. This is still worth 4 stars, it would have been 5 if the others had come first.

Thanks to Netgallet and publisher for this e ARC

I read this as a standalone but now recognise that I really need to check out the others in the series to fully appreciate this read. Still, a light hearted, enjoyable and lovely read.
