Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange of my honest opinion.

This cute short story is really fun and it is a great option for kids starting to read!

The font is big, the illustrations are colorful and bright.

Definitely recommended!

The Lola Bee Bop is everything you would want in an early reader book. Bright colours, familiar characters and a great range of words. The story is really engaging and perfect for younger audiences.

My six year old daughter's comments were 'I liked the illustrations and the author has done really well'.

An outstanding narrative rhyme, concerning Lola, the bee who just can't shop shaking her bootie while at work. Adults might guess that this includes the creation of the actual bees' actual waggle dance, but they may still come to this thinking it a well-made bit of whimsy – a buzzy "Happy Feet" kind of thing. Juniors will be fans of Lola from the off, and the book just about has enough of a chapter-ending 'chorus' for group participation and class activities, to demand further engagement. But those can generally stay on the back-burner when considering this is concerned, for it's just rampant fun and so well put together only the highest of praise is possible.
