In this eclectic poetry collection, Georgia Brown shows a path of her own transformation. Her poems flowed nicely and I really appreciated her rhythmic phrasing. Her voice is unique to her and I look forward to reading more of her poetry.

POETRY BOOK

For me, poetry either speaks to you or it doesn't and in order for a connection to be made, the first line of a poem is important. In this book of poems, some spoke to me some didn't. The writing style was to my liking and understandable. The following small excerpt did speak to me. .

Small excerpt from:

A Stranger On The Bridge

It happened not too long ago
When I'd become my pain

I watched a landscape filled with snow
As all my hope was drained

I felt the sadness of the earth
Combined with that in me

I asked the gods to give re-birth
Or just to set me free

I would recommend this poetry book and give a 4 star rating.

I WANT TO THANK NETGALLEY FOR THE OPPORTUNITY OF READING AN ADVANCED COPY OF THIS POETRY BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW. MY OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.
