Wow what a ride! We read this one and both me and Riley loved it! A sign of how much Riley was loving it came when he updated Leo on what had happened so far., when we were about three quarters in. He has to work on his comprehension and doesn't always take things in when reading or being read to, but he did a great job with this book.

We loved the futuristic plot and guessing who we thought Shadow was during all the fab twists and turns. A great read for budding spies and detectives or those who enjoy a mystery and some good twists!

When Olive’s grandmother dies, a mysterious stranger informs her that her grandmother left her an unusual gift in her will - a memoriser - a device that records and plays back memories. However on the day it is delivered, someone comes to steal it from her. Olive and her brother Frankie gradually come to realise that their grandmother was not the innocent old lady they believed her to be, but was in fact, a spy. They are the only people she could trust to solve her final case.

This is a great adventure story for 8-11 year olds. It moves at a good pace and introduces the reader to the world of espionage.

I received a free copy of the book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

When her grandmother dies, Olive is sad, but not badly upset as she had hardly known her grandma, despite living opposite her house. Olive is really surprised when she is told that she has been left her 'grandmother's memories', saved on to a new type of digital equipment. However, when this is stolen Olive thinks there must be something of interest and starts to investigate. the plot leads us through a series of twists and turns, until we end up with a totally unexpected solution at the end. A great read for those young sleuths who love solving crimes and fancy themselves as the next super spy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it all in one sitting. It's a perfect read for anyone who likes a good mystery or playing detective. The setting was so realistic that something like this could be happening on your story and you'd have no idea. I'm looking forward to buying a copy now for our school library.

Well this book wasn’t my usual genre but I did find it a really decent read. It made me think about my family history and what I would think as an adult about the adult memories of my grandparents.. really really good.
