I have read and enjoyed this authors work before.
I have read and enjoyed this book very much.
A fast paced book that will keep you turning those pages.
A great story line, a plot that was exciting and thrilling.
Kay was a great character, determined to take care of herself, to stop people walking all over her. Fighting her personal battles Kay was a likeable character. I found myself supporting Kay through some of her decisions.
A book i would recommend.

The Feud by Gemma Rogers is a fast-paced read that had me racing breathlessly toward its conclusion.

Kay is fed up with being treated like a doormat, and has reached her breaking point when Simon Fox runs her off the road. It is the final straw, and Kay decides to take revenge on the flash git, thereby entering into a dangerous feud that will have repercussions that no one, least of all Kay herself, could have foreseen.

Gemma Rogers is an author who can always be relied upon to deliver a page-turner of an immersive thriller, and she has done it again with The Feud.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for an ARC.

Gemma Rogers’ The Feud is a spine-chilling and nerve-jangling tale about obsession, vengeance and revenge guaranteed to blow readers away.

Kay has had enough. She is sick and tired of being taken for granted and treated like rubbish by the men in her life. Having just had her heart ripped to shreds, Kay is the lowest she has ever been, so when arrogant Simon Fox runs her off the road with his flash car and barbed jibes, she just sees red. Driven by a desperate need to wreak havoc on those wronged her and fueled by alcohol, Kay decides to teach Simon a lesson he will never forget. Unfortunately, little does she realize that this decision is going to have far-reaching consequences that could end up costing her everything…

Indulging in a spot of petty vandalism was meant to make Kay feel better and give her a much-needed boost. However, she soon learns that Simon is not a man you cross. Nobody crosses him and emerges unscathed – as she discovers to her detriment when everything she knows and loves is placed in jeopardy leaving her fighting for her house, her family and her life.

Simon Fox has become Kay’s worst nightmare. The stakes for her have never been higher, but will she manage to emerge victorious when all the obstacles are standing in her way? Or is Simon far too dangerous and powerful a foe to ever defeat?

Gemma Rogers’ The Feud is a terrifying and shocking chiller that examines the repercussions of transient moments of madness, destructive escalating hostilities and lurking dangers that is unpredictable, complex and so scary it will have readers jumping out of their skin on almost every page.

Gemma Rogers certainly know how to keep her readers on the edge of their seats and with The Feud, she continues to prove to be one of the most exciting writers of domestic thrillers today.

Kay has reached the end of her tether. Her ex husband is vying for their children's affections and flaunting his new lover. Her colleagues are sexist and she is passed over for promotion. Then a smug idiot cuts her up in traffic and she snaps. Kay damages his car and starts a bitter and dangerous feud...
The Feud is a psychological thriller with a big dose of domestic drama.
I felt immediately allied with Kay as she battles against men who patronise her and reject her in both her personal and professional life. The book is written from Kay's first person perspective so we can understand her emotions and actions. Whilst I would never condone criminal activity, I could easily see how she has been pushed to her limit and acted on impulse.
There is plenty of danger and suspense as we wonder what lengths Simon will go to and Kay fears for the safety of her family. Simon is like a villain from a melodrama, without a single redeeming feature. He is overtly and insidiously threatening in his behaviour which ramps up the tension. I found that I had to suspend my disbelief a little and just enjoy the dark plot twists.
On the drama side of the plot, Kay is dealing with issues concerning her ex and her job. Both are having a detrimental effect on her life and she needs to confront both in order to move on. These elements to the plot felt much more realistic to me and could easily have been the premise for the whole book.
The Feud is an enjoyable mix of dangerous thrills and personal battles with a really strong lead character.

The Feud by Gemma Rogers was another superb book I was hooked from the beginning till the very end, I didn't really want it to end as I was enjoying it so much. which I love the way Gemma has a way of drawing you into her books. The feud was full of great twists and turns that was woven over a great plot line and all the characters were brilliant as well. This latest book is a must read for thriller fans.

I highly recommend this latest book and all of her books that are just Brilliant!

Big thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books and the author Gemma Rogers for my ARC of The Feud in exchange for an honest review.

Every now and then along comes a story that works from different angles. The Feud is one such story with an excellent crime novel mixed in is an essential social issue running side by side without preaching. Not so much a whodunit, more like revenge on steroids.
My first book by Gemma Rogers with more to come hopefully.

Oh my goodness I loved this book. So full of thrills and drama.

The lead character Kay is driving her car when a flash Jag cuts her up. Having problems at work with an all-male workforce making inappropriate comments to her, also her husband of 18 years Johnathon walking out on her for a younger woman and leaving her with teenage twins she sees red and goes after him. Johnathon is making her life as difficult as he can and is trying to sell the family home from underneath her. He picks the children up without telling her and lets himself in and out of the house as he pleases which winds Kay up.

She discovers he doesn't live far from her and when he parks up she gets out of the car giving him both barrels. He belittles her leaving her seething she goes home.
That evening whilst drinking wine a thought came into her head: What if I scratched his precious swanky car. Under the cover of darkness. so she stealthily goes out satisfyingly scrapping her key down the side of his car. Not realising she is opening up all kinds of trouble, and trauma.
One is that the owner of the car is Simon Fox who owns a security company and has cameras surrounding his property and doesn't like to lose anything. He is a nasty piece of work who will do anything to get revenge on those that cross him.
My goodness what an unputdownable thriller this book is. I couldn't read each page fast enough and think it is Gemma's best by far.

Thank you so much NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this brilliant book.

Thanl you NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an ARC of The Feud by Gemma Rogers.

Kay's life is falling apart and one moment of road rage leads to her keying her neighbours car. The neighbour owns a security business and he will stop at nothing to get his revenge. I really liked this book! I felt for the main character and was cheering for her the entire time. This is the first book I have read by Gemma Rogers and it certainly will not be the last!

I have been a fan of Gemma’s work for a couple of years now. I have read and loved every single book that she has released to date. I read the synopsis for ‘The Feud’ and it certainly sounded like the sort of read I have come to expect from Gemma- a tense, gritty, gripping and dramatic thriller. Well ‘The Feud’ was certainly all that and so much more. I loved reading ‘The Feud’ but more about that in a bit.
As with all of Gemma’s books, I was drawn into ‘The Feud’ from the synopsis alone and the story sealed the deal as it were. It’s fair to say that this book developed a hold over me from fairly early on and it was a hold that I wasn’t willing to break. I found that I couldn’t put the book down for very long at all. My Kindle wasn’t exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn’t bear to miss a single second of the story even if parts of the story made me shiver. I had my own theories as to what was going to happen so of course I had to keep reading to see if I was on the right track or if I had wandered down the wrong path entirely. I became so wrapped up in the story that I lost all track of time and just how quickly I was getting through the book. All too quickly I reached the end of ‘The Feud’. I found ‘The Feud’ to be an unputdownable, page turner of a read. The story was gritty, gripping, tense and dramatic and I loved it!
‘The Feud’ is superbly written but then I have come to expect nothing less from Gemma Rogers. She certainly knows how to grab the reader’s attention and draw them into what proves to be a compelling story. For me, this was a slow burn type of read, which suits the story that Gemma is telling. As the story continues, the pace accelerates and leads to a tense and dramatic conclusion. Reading ‘The Feud’ felt like being on at times scary and unpredictable rollercoaster ride with several twists and turns along the way. I love the way in which Gemma makes the reader feel as though they are part of the story and at the heart of the action. That’s how I felt anyway.
In short, I loved reading ‘The Feud’ and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I will definitely be reading more of Gemma’s work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Love, love , love this book!!! I picked this book on the strength of Gemma Rogers' previous novels and this one 100% didn't disappoint, if anything she has raised the bar even higher in my humble estimation!

The story is is of Kay, a woman who is portrayed in just the right amount of detail to conjure up the mindset of a woman in her early midde age, whose life is falling apart, her husband has left her, she's being overlooked at work, she probably drink too much etc, etc!

Driving home one day she has a road rage moment, when having an utterly rubbish day, this prompts her to confront the driver, Simon, who proves that he is not a man who takes criticism well....! Events that follow are explosive, utterly unptedictable, and VERY entertaining!!

This is a book I would suggest downloading just as quickly as your fingers can hit 'purchase'!!

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

I received an arc copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest opinion of it. I really enjoyed this book. It starts out as sort of a road rage and the twists are amazing. While Kay is in the middle of a divorce, raising her twins and working at a place that treat women bad, she meets her neighbor, Simon, and stops at his driveway and gives him a piece of her mind after he cuts her off while driving. After he belittles her, she decides to key his jaguar. Since Simon owns a business that specializes in security equipment, it doesn't take him long to figure out who damaged his car. Simon seeks revenge and will stop at nothing to get it.

The Feud is not my first read by Gemma Rogers and certainly won’t be my last. She proves time and time again why her novels are excellent. I couldn’t wait to read this one and am happy I did! It’s everything I want in a psychological thriller.

The plot moves at an excellent pace and it is quite the page turner. It was easy to fly through this because the writing was great and the plot was addicting.

I’m a fan of Gemma Rogers. Every book I’ve read by her has had excellent writing, pacing, and characters, and The Fued is no different. I really enjoyed the character growth and how character driven this story is.

Overall, this was a great read and I recommend checking it out!

Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources, the author, and the publisher for the free review copy. All opinions are my own and unbiased.

Cracking psychological read from Gemma Rogers. A perfectly simple concept that takes so many turns it leaves you reeling, how can one small act, done out of frustration and a bit to much vino change the course of someone’s life so dramatically?

This is definitely one of those increible books that once you’ve read the synopsis you’re hooked. It is an absolutely brilliantly written book with a growing tension for Kay for that you start feeling really scared for her. She does make some silly decisions along the way but in all honesty if I found myself in her place I would be all over the place too. Mind you some of her decisions are born out plenty of alcohol consumed with her best friend. I began to have my doubts about her (the best friend), saying no more on that. Mind you after a few more chapters I began to doubt everyone. One dreadful situation after another and I really was on the edge of my chair. This is one of those, “I need to keep reading” books.

The characters are written with an honesty that makes them totally believable and “there by the grace of my actions go I” it really could happen to anyone. I loved how the tension builds throughout the book and what was a quite small incident becomes the worst thing that Kay could ever have done. Everyone around her becomes involved, her friends and even her two children. It becomes immensely suffocating for Kay and she just can not see a way out. I would highly recommend this book and indeed Gemma Rogers, I love her books. Her writing style is just epic. How will it all end? who will win? Well you just need to grab a copy, a vino and jump right in.

The Feud by Gemma Rogers is a gripping domestic drama that drew me right in from the very first chapter. I absolutely love when I start a book and I’m totally gripped like I was in this instance. Whilst this was an easy read it was also one that I didn’t want to put down so eager was I to find out how everything was going to tie up. I had my suspicions about one or two characters quite early on but that certainly didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this great read. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’ll certainly be reading more.

Well I wanted to shake Kim she was such a rubbish character. Not a bad book at all with some quite thrilling sections but just not for me. I like to think women are above road rage so didn’t want my biased theory refuted…and this story did!

After her husband walking out on their marriage Kay’s day goes from bad to worse when after a road rage incident snowballs leaving a terrible impact on Kay’s life. This book is fast paced and gripping a real page turner. It shows how a little thing can have a knock on effect on the whole of your life. With twists and turns galore you won’t be disappointed with this book I highly recommend it.
