I adored this book. As an educator and a parent, I see such a value in books that show children that the way they are feeling is normal and to not be ashamed to feel different. I appreciate the language used in this book. The monster term and illustrations gave a very clear picture to the read exactly what burden the character felt at the beginning. In addition, using the exact words-like gender dysphoria-give a name to what some children may be feeling, which is incredibly important.
