Well written, entertaining and a great insight as to what things were like back then. I always enjoy blasts from the past and this didn't disappoint.
Highly enjoyed reading it and would definitely recommend.

too british, he used to say how the capitalism might f****ed it up this whole world but i got some fellings bout this anti-capitalism too white, european, cis-straight and privilige avoiding their trauma being working class. It was good and not good for me.

A rarity in the field of British comedy - a Conservative comedian. It is possibly overlong at times as it does feel like an extended stage sketch, however, Geoff Norcott has an easy prose style and a likeable character. His recollections of growing up and his uni years have many laugh out loud moments. He has a light but informative touch on political milestones like the Blair government and Brexit.

An entertaining read and I am with his dad on voting for the Tories ;-)

Interesting read on whether the politics and political environment of your parents and childhood have any correlation with your own political beliefs as an adult
