First, I adore Chloe Liese and this series is just top notch. I'm also a sucker for a grumpy/sunshine. I was, I confess, a bit uncertain this would work because it can be supremely cringey when women authors write steamy romances featuring queer men. This was so well done, and it's become one of my favorites in the series. I can't wait for more from her.

I absolutely loved this book - all of Chloe’s books in this series are perfection. The characters have so much depth & she touches on so many relatable things.

This was fantastic! A great grumpy sunshine lead dynamic. It’s full of heart and sweet and romantic. A great addition to the series!

I ended up reading this for the Grumpy/Sunshine theme at my romance book club (if that sounds interesting and you’re Boston-based hit me up for the location!) but it ultimately emphasized the biggest thing that can go wrong with grumpy/sunshine in my opinion: the grump is too much of a jerk for too much of the book. Gavin has a great grovel scene but it’s around the 95% mark and Oliver is already in love with him??? NO!!! He has to apologize FIRST, why would you like someone who treated you like a leper for being FRIENDLY at WORK??? I think if it hadn’t been a workplace setting it would have bothered me less but the fact that the opening of this relationship is that Gavin has been rude and disrespectful for three years to not only his teammate but someone he is CAPTAINING really bothered me, and the interior justification that he’s being mean to Oliver because he’s jealous just makes it worse. Even though we’re half in Gavin’s POV for the entire book, we don’t find out his foundational trauma until almost the very end of the book, which I think was a mistake — it makes it very hard to sympathize with him at that point. On the other hand, the exploration of Oliver’s “sunshine facade” was a really cool twist on the grumpy/sunshine trope! More grumpy/sunshine where the grump wants to be a safe place for sunshine to stop having to project happiness all the time! The depiction of Gavin’s chronic pain was very good, too. I have not watched Ted Lasso but for my sins I know a lot about men’s soccer and I thought for the most part the soccer parts were well done. It’s more background than anything, which is probably for the best.

Chloe Liese and her Bergmans will always have my heart and this book has taken it and melted it with delicious goodness!
I LOVE a good enemies to lovers and sunshine/grumps and this book was just dripping with all of it! Oliver is such a sweetheart and you always want everything to go well for him. Gavin was the perfect older grumpy with a heart of gold and these two are just perfect together!
I always trust Chloe to bring me the feels! 🥰

I really enjoyed this book, and it was so nice reading about Oliver. It was the perfect amount of slow burn with the grumpy vs sunshine trope. I also loved seeing the Bergman family again and cannot wait to read more about the remaining siblings who have books coming as well!

Chloe Liese has become one of my favorite authors. I've been lucky enough to review some of Bergman Sibling books and they are amazing. Everything For You was no exception.

I've never wanted a fictional family to be so real!
Representation matters and I'm so glad I'm seeing more of it every day.

"But grief doesn't get easier. It just gets familiar. You learn to live with it, and if you re lucky, you find people who'll love you while you do."

This quote really resonated with me, as I was dealing with my own tragedies and adversity (which is the reason why this review is so incredibly late)

The Bergman Family series is a light in this world and Everything For You has a place of honor in this series!

Well, it's a contemporary romance novel. You already know what to expect. But that's exactly why you picked this book up in the first place, isn't it? That feeling of coziness and familiarity?

And listen, the most important part of any romance novel: the characters. Here? They are so well fleshed out you can't help but to root for them both. It's like they are your very own friends. And that all means that any angst is as delicious as you would want from a properly good romance. And the pay-off at the end worth every second of said angst.

Everything for You is absolutely a book to recommend to any fan of the romance genre!

Thank you to NetGalley and Chloe Liese for this ARC.

I absolutely loved this book. It was everything I wanted and more. The representation and depth were precisely what I expected from Chloe, and she did not disappoint. I wanted to give them both a big hug so many times! This was a very accurate representation of anxiety that is rare to see in this genre of romance.

The confusion about who the siblings are is hilarious and I always love Viggo’s antics.
His relationship with Ziggy is adorable and heartwarming. I like that we saw an insight into the remained siblings and some of their struggles, helping set up their books.
I miss the Bergman parents; they were mentioned but had little actual interaction. I want a parent story! Just a little one! Please?

Overall, a 5-star read and left me begging for more! Can’t wait for book 6!

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

We got two Bergman weddings!!! What a treat. I love Linnea so much and her relationship with Ollie is amazing. Who shall have kids next? The Bergmans are always up to something.

I love the coach and the poker buddies! I wish we had seen him tell Gavin he knows Willa. It was heartbreaking watching Gavin lose his ability to play. The jump around with the injury was a little confusing TBH. Like I missed a segway or something but that might have been from tears. Is Gavin coaching the team? Again, so confused about all that.

I was definitely bummed I didn't enjoy this book more. I had to do a lot of skimming in order to finish it.

Chloe Liese knocked it out of the park once again. I love grumpy/sunshine and rivals to lovers, and Oliver and Gavin are an absolute delight together.

As with all of the Bergman books, we get great rep - specifically Oliver’s anxiety and Gavin’s chronic pain. I cried during multiple parts of this book, and felt so seen (though my pain has not come through injury and physical exertion). It’s so powerful to me that we explore the way an athlete’s life can completely change due to injuries and pain. Many, like Gavin, are willing to destroy their bodies for the sport they love, and are forced to deal with the consequences - lifelong pain, and grieving the loss of their identity. I’m glad that the use of shots and pain medication are shown throughout, as we see how unsustainable it is.

Linnie is everything that I pictured a sweet little Bergman baby would be. She’s part of some of my favourite scenes during this book, and I love that we continue to see the entire family grow and flourish.

I wish I could relive this book again for the first time, and have a feeling I’ll be revisiting it soon. Now I’m just hoping that our hopeless romantic, Viggo gets his happily ever after next!

"Well, I've hurt. And I've ached. And I've wanted. And yes, some of it's been for soccer, but more than anything, it's been for him. Oliver."

I have loved every book in this series, so I wasn't worried I'd hate this one. I don't think I anticipated just how much I would love it--love the characters, love how different this book felt from the rest of the series, love the romance and the angst and the pain.

I thought that the chronic pain representation in this book was so important, especially in how it plays out in a professional athlete. I loved the character dynamics between the love interest--how, even when Gavin pissed him off by being a dick, Oliver would give it right back to him. The slow burn, crush-to-lover, rivals-to-lovers romance was incredible.

I can't wait to re-read this book again and again and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

This was super cute! It had all the tropes I love most: sunshine x grumpy pairing, enemies to lovers, only one bed. Thank you for the early copy, I really enjoyed this!

The beauty of the Bergman family, in my opinion, is how relatable each member is. This book was great fun for me! Despite not being a fan of sports myself, I always enjoy LGBTQ sports stories.

Some of my favourite tropes are present in this book, including sports romance, adversaries to lovers, grumpy x sunlight, one-bed/forced proximity, and lots of tension.
I was into this because I love me some forced proximity and one bed stereotypes!

Simply put, Oliver and Gavin were perfect. All that I had hoped for and more. The joking, THE JOKING. Gah!! My favourite novel couples are Oli and Gav, and I often find myself thinking about them.

When I requested this I didn’t realize it was several books into a series. So I didn’t have the background that I would have liked. BUT. I really enjoyed this book! I always love LGBTQ sports stories for some reason, even though I don’t like sports myself. I thought it was maybe a little slow, but it didn’t take away from the story for me. I love me some one bed/forced proximity tropes, so I was into this! I can’t wait to go back and read the others in this series, and then read this again! I enjoyed the writing style and the flow it had going.

I was given an advanced reader's copy via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own

It did stand up to others in the series. I found this on too slow to start, it might be someone else's cup of tea but it isn't mine.

I think the beauty of the Bergman family is that each one is relatable. Maybe you only relate to one or a few, but I guarantee you will see pieces of yourself or a loved one among the characters. While Oliver and Gavin's story was another great one, it was not my favourite. And that is because I did not relate to them as characters as much. But I still really loved this story and cannot wait for the rest.

Agreed with the criticism that there's insufficient romantic development growth. It went from A LOT of conflict/antagonism to committed love way too fast. Read via Hoopla.
