I received this ARC from Netgally and Victory Editing for my honest opinion. I read this in one day. I liked the characters. If you love shifters, vampires, mobsters, and yea, violent motorcycle gang then you"ll enjoy this book. There is a very detailed sex scene in almost every chapter! The only draw back for me at least is that you don't get the complete story and you have to wait to see what happens in another book. You don't even get a hint on if the friends Jack and Angela could or will get together. Otherwise its a solid 4 stars rating from me.

Thank you to Netgalley and Cassie Alexander for this ARC.

Werewolves? Check
Vampires? Check
Detailed smutty scenes? Hell yes!

This book was such a good read. Can't wait for book 2!

Quick, fast-moving read that will keep you turning the page! Shifters, vampires, mobsters, and yea, violent motorcycle gang - it's all here! Lots of heat, lots of action, and characters you will want to follow - and you will need to, this isn't a one-off!

I read this in one sitting. I liked the writing which flowed really well and had good pacing and had a good amount of character development and I liked that it centred around witches, werewolves and vampires. This book was really steamy but I like spice so I didn't mind one bit. I cant wait to read more by this author.

Vampires, werewolves and witches are the main players in this book by @authorcassiealexander. Jack, a heavily tattooed vampire, is in love with his boss Angela, a werewolf who owns the tattoo studio they both work in. Angela’s past has come back to haunt her and she is worried for her son. But does she turn to Jack? No, she turns to her human boyfriend instead. Jack spends most of the book trying not think about Angie. He’s in investigative mode (always sleeping with his sources, regardless of gender) trying to find the killer of one of his conquests. The 2 storylines seem unrelated other than Jack and Angie’s occupations. But are they? As the book continues more and more connections are made. I enjoyed this book. It is well written and had good flow. It is very very spicy. There is a very detailed sex scene in almost every chapter! It definitely hooked me into the story and I can’t wait to find out what happens

This book is a SOLID 4-star romance read. If you like vampires and werewolves, you will LOVE this. This book is smutty, explicit, and fast-paced.
Some of the positives; I love the two main characters. I feel like Angela is easy to like and you appreciate the lengths she is willing to go to protect her loved ones. Jack is the morally grey love interest that anyone could love. He seems big and bad but has a soft side. I feel like we are just diving into their relationship and I am excited to see where they go. I also love the character representation in this book, it is incredibly well done.

The only negative I can see is I am unsure of how it will go from there. It seemed that the smut came before continuing the plot along (not that I am mad at that). I am invested in the characters. I just wish that there was a little bit more plot.

If you love smut, read this.

I completed this book and then needed a couple of days to process my thoughts so I could provide a review that would be fair to the author and/or readers who enjoy these types of stories.
This book was not for me.
It is not a complete story, just part of a story split between editions. It suddenly cut off at the end of a chapter without any warning or lead up to a cliffhanger.
There are an excessive number of sex scenes that seem to be used as filler in what may have otherwise been an interesting story.
Removing the off topic sex scenes, the plot seems pretty decent. I would have liked more interaction between the 2 main characters mentioned in the book blurb.
Kudos to the author for including same-sex partners for sex scenes.

I really enjoyed this book! Jack and Angela’s relationship is an odd one, and hopefully in the next few we can see their relationship blossom. I enjoyed the secondary characters a lot! They were really fun and made the story way more enjoyable! The spice was amazing!!! The steamy scenes were well thought out, detailed and just all around really easy to read without interrupting the natural flow of the story. I will be reading the next books in the series!

Well written to hold your interest. I love the interactions and the relationships. This story is about a vampire and a werewolf on a journey to finding true love, with the dangers and romances it takes to get there.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Well, this was interesting. I picked it up because of the lgbtqia label and the paranormal. Yes, it is both of those things. It’s also very spicy. This is the part I was not expecting, and that’s not my thing so I did skim those parts.

However, this is well written. Both characters are interesting. I love the setting of Vegas and the tattoo shop. Jack and Angela make an awesome pair. There was nothing about the other aspects of the book I didn’t enjoy. I was just not a fan of the spicy.

Definitely a book fans of Charlaine Harris and Christine Feehan will enjoy. I would definitely read more if I could just cut out the spicy aspects, but alas… I did like most of he book and know this will be a hit with paranormal romance fans that like it hot!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the digital review copy.
