When I started reading The Brothers I felt so confused by all the names , Kenny, Bobby, Sonny, Donny, Tammy,Tansey I thought I'd never be able to understand who belonged to which family but as the story progressed and the characters developed I struggled less and soon became totally engrossed in their antics.

An absolutely brilliant follow on to The Family Man. The story focuses on the lives of Kenny Bond and his twin grandsons’, Beau and Brett. Secrets are being kept that could rip the family apart and cause massive repercussions for all involved.

There are comical moments as well as horrific moments but all told in Kimberley’s unique style . Certainly a top recommendation for anyone to read.

You can always rely on Kimberly Chambers to give you one hell of a ride and this one was an absolute roller coaster.
It was a while back when I'd read the first book so I was worried that I wasn't going to remember what had happened but it all came back to me as I started reading and I was just just as hooked!
Really gritty storytelling at its very best.
An easy 5 if not more star read!

As always a good read. A new crime family - this one where not everyone is on the crime route. Introducing twins Beau and Brett Bond, who we meet age 16 as they murder their stepbrother as a scapegoat for the drug death of Beau's Traveller girlfriend's twin sister. Beau marries Jodie and they build their family. The two families come together although there is mutual mistrust and dislike. Grandad Kenny is head of the Bond family and has his own problems , not least in keeping secrets from his wife, Sharon. Strange values and a world I can't imagine. #netgalley #TheBrothers

This wonderful author never disappoints......Kimberley is a brilliant author, all her books will have you hooked from the very beginning till the very end. Once you start to read her books you don't want it to end.

The Brothers by Kimberley Chambers was no different, this was a superb book especially as it is the second book in the excellent The brothers series, which is about a gangland crime family. Beau and Brett Bond are identical twins who have always had each other’s backs - They have a dark secret that could cause a war between both sides. But this time they need to have their wits about them more than ever, if they want to survive!

Brett is a survivor, he always follows his brother’s Beau's lead, even if it means he's lives to regret it.

When Beau and Jolene get hitched, their feuding families must put all their differences aside.

The dark secret is bumbling very close to the surface and what better place to reveal all, is at the wedding of the year….....

Will they brothers still have each other’s backs?

Or is it too late to put things right again between both families.

WoW.........This book was so good! I loved it!

I highly recommend this book another 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ book!
Plus, can be read as a standalone but I do recommend you read the first book called The Family. Bloody Brilliant!

Outstanding sequel to the Family Man, the plots and twists, this book drama all the way through! Thoroughly enjoyed every page and devoured it in hours. The brothers go through an emotional rollercoaster and mum Lori is on hand! The dramas that Sharon and Kenny go through and you have to adore dear Ricky. Ricky is a great person and such an inspiration, great addition to the story. Everything i want to say will be spoiler but Kimberley you have outdone yourself with this series, can not wait for the 3rd book!

The Brothers takes you straight to the heart of the Bond family in this disturbing and gritty gangland thriller. It focuses on the twin brothers Beau and Brett and the darkness surrounding them. The prejudice and violence define this story, but the family dynamic and the blurring between good and evil make this an addictive read. The characters are believably complex and relatable; the violent ethos the family exists within is implicit and not gratuitously graphic. It's a page-turning read with lots of twists.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

This was book 2 in the series and I had just finished reading book 1 which I loved. This book was brilliant and I can't speak highly enough about it. There were so many fantastic characters, some you love and some you hate but they all bring something to the story. It was very raw and gritty with some bits being hard to read but it was unputdownable. This was a brilliant read from this fantastic author who is a total legend. I loved every page and I hope there isn't too long a wait for the next one

The Family Man I have only just read however this actually was the last book KC released I believe three years ago. For me moving on to this book was a great thing but for others I imagine its been a long time coming. The Family Man I enjoyed but in some respects I didn't care too much for the characters so I was interested to see how this latest book fared.

Brett and Beau Bond the twins in the family are the main focus this time around and we get to see more of Beau and his new wife Jolene. Once again the writing and storyline for me is still just as good and shows why KC can tella good yarn, however my feelings about the characters remained. In all honesty I enjoyed this second book slightly more than the last but still though the whole Bond Family are characters I just don't care too much for.

The small niggle aside this book has all you could want and expect from a KC book and I think her fans will absolutely love it. A solid read by a great author, here's hoping I like the next lot of characters more.

The Brothers by Kimberley Chambers.

Read every book the author has wrote and really enjoy the gritty stories of this genre.
There is something about a fab crime plot when wrote by a woman , they somehow manage to keep it brutal yet you really get to know the personalities of the characters , good or bad !Brett

This time we have twin brothers Beau & Brett , with Beau being the stronger of the two.
Beau is getting married to Jolene who is a member of a family who also loves on the wrong side of the law.

There are secrets to tell , but at the wedding of Beau & Jolene is not the best time to share them !

Really enjoyed this one , especially as Kimberley also brought in a few past characters of the past titles.

Another incredible read from Kimberley. Straight in and there is action from the first page. I love her books and she did not disappoint this time either. The characters were believable and life like and most of them were very likeable. I really enjoyed the mention of Queenie and Vinnie it was the icing on the cake.

I’ve always loved Kimberley’s books, they’re gripping page turners and this one is no exception. We are back with the Bond family and the twins Beau and Brett are still getting themselves into trouble. The only complaint I have about Kimberley’s books is that once I pick it up I lose track of time as I’m so engrossed in the story. There’s an unexpected twist at the end which as always leaves you waiting for the next book to arrive. I highly recommend this book a five star read for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi, review below for

‘The Brothers’ by Kimberley Chambers published by HarperCollins TODAY March 14th

469 Pages

KC fans always wait excitedly for a new book and it seems a long time since 2021 and ‘The Family Man’ ( Book 1 in series )….fair to say we were thrilled to hear about ‘The Brothers’ and more than keen to read it
And of course it did not disappoint….
Not in story, characters, setting or the unique tone that this author brings to her books
Its eye wateringly real in every way and unflinchingly direct, KC can and does push every limit and does it so so well, I rarely am open mouthed by what I read but was pretty much all the way through
There are a lot of folk to meet at the beginning but once met them all the action is unstoppable, it really doesn’t take a breath till the last sentence and even that leaves you wanting more for the next book (Book 3 in this series)
Every situation pretty much you can imagine KC covers in this book and as said in her unapologetic style
It is a fantastic book by a true legend who cant half right an amazing tale 😎

would like to thank netgalley and the publishers for letting me read this book

omg what have i just read.....but you have to get through a lot of characters before it all starts to make sense

its a gangland style book reminiscent of martina cole...in fact she is mentioned in this book but with a slight different style to it

when beau married jolene none of their families were impressed with either choice.... jolene was part of the gypsy culture and brett was born a born to be gangster

his twin brother brett was in a different world all together but thats a secret he wants to keep from his family

as life starts to get complicated for all, things start to unravel for all

the ending though omg wasnt expecting that, and for that alone i am giving this book 5 stars.... wow

I was lucky enough to be invited to read this book by the publisher. It's the follow up to The Family Man which introduced the Bond family and this book follows the next generation, but could also be read as a standalone. I really have no idea how Kimberley Chambers mind works or where she gets her ideas from! It's the usual violence etc that we've come to expect - certainly not for the faint hearted! Plenty of scope for a follow up to find out how life pans out for Beau and Brett and hope that there is one in the pipeline.

Another fantastic book from Kimberly Chambers! As always, Chambers does a brilliant job of recapping past events so that the reader is immediately thrown back into the story. Something I very much appreciate!

After thoroughly enjoying ‘The Family Man’ some three years ago, I was very excited to say the least to dive into ‘The Brothers’ and it most certainly did not let me down!
Reading it over the course of just two days, I thoroughly enjoyed following the story of Brett and Beau Bond and all of their explosive antics. It truly is gangland at its finest!

The Queen of Gangland Crime is back and back with a bang.
I decided to do a reread of The Family Man before jumping right in to The Brothers. It was great being able to read them back to back. Getting familiar again with the characters and what a bunch of Characters we have. Written in a way only KC seems to be able to offer. Another first class story full of oddballs and notrights.
Its fresh, it's real, it's gripping. The action is fast, packs a punch and leaves you wanting more.
It feels like we've waited a lifetime for this book, buy my goodness it was certainly worth the wait.
The Bond brothers are starting out in their criminal world, following in Grandads footsteps, The brothers will show why family is blood. Sticking together through thick and thin and ups and downs.
Feuding families brought together, Crime, crime and a bit more crime. loves, lies, feuds. KC has certainly honed her skills in this genre and knows exactly what her readers want. KC has delivered time and time again and this is no exception.
~I can't praise this book highly enough. I really bloody enjoyed it.

Another brilliant book from Kimberley Chambers.
Brett and Beau are twins and have a very close bond. They did something that had repercussions through their family and that of Beau’s future wife’s family too but they both manage to move on with their lives. However, when Beau marries Jolene it’s clear there’s tension between the Bond family and Jolene’s family.
Their grandad Kenny is also skating on thin ice with his wife Sharon as he has a child with another woman that no-one knows about.
There’s lots of different threads in this book and I loved how it all came together.
This is a gripping thriller with family and gangland crime at its centre.
A brilliant book that I’d highly recommend.
Thanks to Harper Collins UK and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
