I initially requested this thinking it included the book along with the kit, but it’s actually just the Book Club Kit with discussion questions, extras, and recipes. Since I haven’t read By the Book yet, I didn’t dive into the questions to avoid spoilers, but I did like the Charcuterie Board ideas. Looking forward to revisiting the kit once I’ve read the book.

So much fun to use! Super easy to utilizes and comes in handy when you throw together a book club and have no idea where to start. I love all the details they add in these kits. You need a quick bite: heres a few, drinks? got it covered, bookmarks? say less, activities/games? here it is! It has everything you need and more. LOVE and will continue to use!

-The author interview was interesting and made it easier to connect with the updated version of the story.
-The cover designer interview was an interesting/different addition to this book club guide.
-The discussion questions were open ended and thought provoking.
-The printable bookmarks had cute designs and were thematically appropriate.
-The activities and food/drink suggestions were useful for book club party planning purposes.

Belle has been one of my favorite princesses since childhood, so it’s not easy to impress me, but the bookmarks are really cute and match the cover’s aesthetic perfectly.
I really liked that there was an interview with the book’s cover designer, it’s a great way to honor these artists too.
I had fun with the writing exercises and I’m definitely going to try the Sparkling Rosé Margarita!

Again, We Are Bookish has written a book club kit that has probably gone unnoticed by many and more the shame on them. I love that this was not just about the reading of a book the process of book creating. Including the Cover Designers notes and questions along with sharing the authors own tips for and strategies for writing was a great idea to offer something different, exciting, and inspiring.

I snatch up these adorable book club kits every time one comes out that is relevant to books I have queued up or for book club ideas. Most of the things I enjoy about the kits I've been finding in each one which is nice but there are always unique pieces to each book to keep things fresh.

I thought the activities for this particular book were SO cute and fun. The bookmarks are adorable and a cute little takeaway. My favorite part is always the foodie ideas because that's one of the best parts of gathering together and entertaining. Good conversation and good food!!

This Book Club Kit for By The Book is a game-changer for anyone looking to elevate their book club experience. The materials are beautifully designed and easy to use, making both virtual and in-person meetings feel seamless.

What I loved most about this book club kit was the cover design interview. We loved the cover so much, it was fun to read and get inside the author's thoughts with this process. We liked the quote that was on the printable bookmark also. Generating our pen names was fun also, and were able to pick our next book club read from the "More from Jasmine Guillory" section.

Books about books are always a win, and this one adds even more—it’s a rom-com, a fairytale retelling, and a story that celebrates reading. That combo is pretty irresistible. The Beauty and the Beast references were done in such a sweet and clever way, which is tricky to pull off, but this book nailed it. That said, while I was hooked at the start, the pace started to lose me later on. Could’ve been a reading slump, could’ve been the book—but either way, it didn’t quite keep the same spark all the way through. Still, the concept was a dream!

Absolutely loved the kit tho!

This is so cool! I admittedly don't have a book club (though I'm looking into starting one through my local library), but I recently picked up this romance for some Spring reading. I wasn't expecting much from these book club kits, but wow! This included EVERYTHING... from discussion questions to interviews with the author and cover designer, to a cocktail recipe and ideas for snacks. I can totally see how this kit would help you streamline a book club meeting and make it more meaningful. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these kits moving forward!
