Dangerous Beauty was to me a page turning - stay up late - and missed my Sunday nap good book. From page one I could not put this story down.

The action from being chased by very BAD men and Liliana's willingness to help others in the same situation made this novel a book I relished from start to finish. The subject is horrifying. Liliana is rescued by the hero from being people trafficked and entered into a marriage of convenience. He is her rescuer and savior.

Y'all, I'm telling you that Meric Toledan is my new book boy friend. This hero was smart, broody, compassionate, protective, tough as nails and beautiful inside and out. The heroine, Liliana was also smart, brave, and a compassionate survivor. She too a beautiful person inside and out. The romance was so precious and sweet. Dangerous Beauty is a perfect title for this romantic suspense thriller.

“Dangerous Beauty” by Melissa Koslin was an engaging read! This book had me hooked from the first page, and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended. The character development in this story is excellent. You can’t help but love the main characters, Meric and Lillanna. This book deals with a very sensitive topic-human trafficking. Melissa Koslin writes in a way that is not graphic but still engages and informs the readers of the topic. This is the second book I’ve read by Melissa Koslin, and I can’t wait to read more. I highly recommend this book.

"Dangerous Beauty" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. The main characters were likable, honorable people who reacted realistically to events. I cared about what happened to them. Meric believed he would become a cruel, selfish man like his (unknown) father if he didn't keep strict control over his emotions and actions. He worked undercover to save sex-trafficked women only to happen across Liliana, who had escaped her captors but was about to be recaptured. He helped her escape but also married her to continue to protect her. He's unfailingly kind and considerate, helping her through her trauma. She's not only beautiful and resilient but very smart, quickly adapting to living in America. But she also wants to help save others like her as well as help her guilt-ridden husband--if he'd only tell her why he feels so guilty.

Meric and Liliana supported and brought out the best in each other. Meric completely respected Liliana and her decisions while also doing his best to keep her safe. They had to work through some misunderstandings and learn more about each other. The suspense remained high due to several attempts to recapture Liliana and because the bad guy tried to frame Meric as a criminal in order to get her away from his protection.

The Christian part was mostly brief mentions of how Liliana's faith helped her through everything she experienced. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I would recommend this enjoyable, exciting suspense novel.

This is a fast-paced, action-packed thriller about sexual trafficking.. A remarkably beautiful Latina is rescued from a trafficking ring by a mysterious, handsome, wealthy man who marries her so she can stay in the United States. While they find they are in danger from the. trafficking ring, they are also in danger of falling in love.

This suspenseful marriage of convenience tale will keep you on the edge of your seat! The hero may be a bit larger than life, and the heroine may have adapted very readily to her situation, but there's no denying the chemistry between these two as he seeks to help her heal and she tries to show her gratitude. An unusual take on a marriage of convenience.

So I'm beginning to realize with this author you never know what kind of story you are going to get. And I mean that in the best possible way! I'm not sure how she comes up with these tales but they are always full of details and leave my pulse pounding for most of the book. I really can't wait to see what she writes about in her next book!!!!

Dangerous Beauty is a fast paced, can’t put down suspense novel focusing on stopping human trafficking. I read most of this book in one day! I liked Liliana’s strong character and Meric’s tender care for her. Their arranged marriage romance is sweet and I didn’t want this story to end. Some of the story was a little bit hard to suspend my disbelief and Liliana was a little too superhuman in my opinion. However, none of that kept me from enjoying Dangerous Beauty and I look forward to more from Melissa Koslin.

Liliana Vela is running from traffickers that brought her over the border from Mexico to the US and held her and other women captive. As she is hiding in a truck stop restaurant, Meric Toledan, a rich businessman rescues her and they marry to keep her from being deported and back into a hopeless situation. Meric is not who everyone thinks he is but he is everything to Liliana and she sees him as her protector and her savior. He has to work through some life issues that plague him but he is truly one of the good guys. This is an edgy book that shows us a little of what the trafficking scheme is all about. I want to see more like this and can't wait for this author's next book.

I found Melissa Koslin's Dangerous Beauty to be a fabulous piece of fiction. I highly recommend it. Five plus stars.

Forget anything you expect this book to be like. If you get a few slight hints of a Christian "Fifty Shades" in the first few chapters ignore them. I was thrilled to see this story ignore the tropes, dig deep into some painful issues, and keep refusing to take the plot in an expected direction. I could NOT put this book down!

Meric is such a unique hero--I loved how the author refused to keep him in a stereotype. He is fascinating and such a beautiful contrast to Liliana. His protection of her both physically and emotionally--beginning when he marries her and in so many ways after--rang so true. And Liliana! I highlighted so many of her strong, powerful statements as a fighter and not a victim. I also loved the self-defense component, especially as I share a passion for it (and taekwondo, like the author!). Some of it hit very close to home because of my past, and I SO appreciated that the author was able to deal with this type of abuse without anything triggering. She did a wonderful job in her wording and how she focused the reader's attention. I'd give her an extra 5 stars for that if I could.

Taken by the cartel and sold, Liliana is carried across the border for delivery. A mysterious man intervenes to save her and creates more mystery when he offers to marry her to keep her safe. Their relationship is tenuous at best, he provides for her and gives her space and freedom to heal, but his true identity remains hidden. Until circumstances force his hand and she becomes involved, he starts to realize the depth of his feelings for her.

I find the author has a unique voice in her descriptions and writing style. The story was enjoyable, watching all the threads unravel to bring the bigger picture. The heroine is a strong, resilient woman who will fight for others, and the hero protective, patient and understanding.

It's a suspenseful ride and I think you'll enjoy it!

Wow. I read the entire book in one night.
Liliana Vale is a trafficking survivor. She is hiding from her captors in a gas station bathroom just over the border. When Meric Toledan is in the right place at the right time. He quickly saves Liliana but is left with a difficult choice. He offers to marry Liliana so she does not get deported back to Mexico. The two are quickly married. Liliana is now married and left to try and fit into Meric's life. The Rich businessman has secrets. Can the two trust each other and fight the attraction at the same time?

I was a bit skeptical at first. The beginning was a bit rushed but I am so glad I stuck with it. Such an amazing book. I love the rich business man love interest and I can admit it. This was a story of trust, strong women, and survival. Meric was so sweet with Liliana and the little details made this book a home run! I completely lost myself in this book. I will recommend this book to anyone and everyone!
