Thank you Netgalley, Zondervan, and the author and illustrator of this book for allowing me to read it for free in exchange for an honest review.

"Let's Learn About the Forest" is an adorable little book. It's a hide and seek type of book with little pictures for your little ones to find throughout the pages of the story. It tells of the beautiful creatures God put on this Earth for us to love and take care of and includes fun little facts about the animals. The illustrations are beautiful and there is a lot to keep children interested. I highly recommend this for toddlers. It's a good book for parents to sit down and enjoy with their kids.

There are a lot of things I really like about “Let’s Learn About the Forest!”

The pictures are very cute and colorful and introduce the reader to different animals that live in the forest. There are 4 things to find on each double page scene-they are not difficult to find-it would be perfect for a toddler!

Besides the search and find aspect, there is also a short story as well as two interesting facts for each scene (ie. Any seeds the chipmunks don’t eat grow into more plants and trees in the forest!)

When I requested to preview this book I didn’t notice it was a seek and find story through God’s creation; as a person who is not very religious I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the book. God is mentioned on most pages (mostly in the fun fact bubbles- ie. Bears need to eat a lot of food-so God gave h them noses that can smell food from miles away) but the book’s main focus is more the forest than religion. If you are not religious it wouldn’t change the book if you left out the word God. In the actual story the word God is only mentioned on the very last page.

Overall a book I would recommend regardless of your religious affiliation!

Thank you to the publisher and Net Galley for the advance digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

Let's Learn About The Forest is a sweet seek-and-find story through God's creation for children.
I love the illustrations and all the cute little animals. I also love how the story keeps pointing back to God, our creator.
Each page has beautifully illustrated animals, Seek-and-Find pictures, and fun facts about the animals and God's creation.
This is a perfect book for little ones. I read this book with my baby brother (he liked the bear illustrations).
Overall, I think this is a perfect book for little kids (babies and toddlers), and I look forward to reading it more with my baby brother.

I want to give a big thanks to NetGalley and Zonderkidz for this ARC book.

Let’s Learn About the Forest is a seek and find book telling the story of a mama and her baby chipmunk as they wander around the forest, enjoying God’s beautiful creation. The story is sweet, the illustrations are gorgeous, and the seek and find activity is SO fun! Each page has fun facts about the animal friends highlighted, which is just another great way to interact with this book! I love how it grows with your little one so they can enjoy it in new ways for years to come!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. An excellent seek-and-find book about the forest. Great pictures and lots of great information too.

I requested this book because my 6 year old is obsessed with nature. Animals, tracks, sticks, anything. So this book was perfect. And SO CUTE! The graphics are amazing and engaging. There are 2 fun facts per page and they were interesting. I didn't know hardly any of them, so even as an adult I felt like I was learning new things just by reading this to my child. I loved this as much as he did!

Thanks to Netgalley and Zonderkidz for a free digital copy.

I love a cute animal illustration and paired with sweet little story and tons of fun facts and seek and find elements, this book is so fun. It follows the day in the life of a chipmunk and all the animals that little guy encounters. I really liked it!

This is a religious book finding what God gave each of these creatures.
My favorite part is the interactive bit where we seak elements of the illustration on the large spreads. The art spread is gorgeous and the book talks about 8 families of forest creatures. It keeps the same format from page 1 to the last so it ends abruptly not really a closing message or any other info.
Each page has an interactive speaking game and just one or two simple facts about the animals.

I really liked this book. It follows a chipmunk and goes through looking at different animals. Every page has two facts to learn about that particular animal, and there are four things to find on every page. The illustrations are great and capture a young child's attention. This is definitely a good book that I would want the physical copy for so I could take it along with us on camping and hiking trips in the forest.

Lovely illustrations, vibrant and full of detail. This is a great woodland book for all ages with things to spot and learn.
The religious aspect wasn't for me but I imagine it would be fantastic for families who are looking to talk about God with their children.

I am a big fan of the seek and find stories and what better way thru the story of God's creation. The illustrations are delightful and make reading engaging for young children. Each page is Can you Find along with fun facts about the animals and living things of the forest. Mama and baby chipmunk make a great pair along with you and your little one to discover all that God has created.

A special thank you to Zonderkidz and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

A well illustrated book. Nice treasure hunting for younger children. Does include god in each page, doesn't feel religious other than this but would exclude me from using it

A seek and find book about forest creatures. It is religious in nature, which might not be clear from the title alone (although it is on the cover).
