A captivating biography of
Giangalezzo Visconti and a truculent journey through the numerous political shenanigans that plagued the Italian Peninsula at the end of the 14th century. The never-ending conflicts between the Guelphs and Ghibellines and the first initial attempt to try unifying a coherent territorial entity during the late medieval period despite the ever increasing pressure of the French and the Spanish.

Terrific military and political history that deserves to be enjoyed without any moderation whatsoever!

Many thanks to Sapere Books and Netgalley for this fabulous ARC
