A wonderful twist on a classic runaway story. The dual POV's let you see right into the characters heads and understand their loves and hurts. This book kept me captivated the whole way through with lovable characters and representation. Seeing the clichés through a screenwriter's POV was super interesting and the sugary sweet happy ending was the perfect cherry on top to end a wonderful book.

Before we begin, I'd just like to say, ANNALISA AND SIMON CAN GO SUCK LARGE HAIRY B4LLS!!!

God that felt good to get off my chest. Let's now begin.

I loved this book to the moon and back. it’s just one of those small town angsty-ish romances that I love to read. Another huge plus about this book was that it was written in first person dual POV, so I got to see into everyone’s heads.

Also, the plot was absolutely wonderful. A runaway best man? Practically unheard of. I think it was totally clever. I think this was probably one of the best books I've read this year(and I've read a bunch).

The friendship between Tank, Sawyer and Sully was precious and adorable to watch grow, and every scene with Sully and Sawyer made my heart want to cry. The two of them were basically mirror versions of one another, both enamored by a strong, enchanting woman who was already taken by another man.

Oh and the way Fallon's dads basically wrote the entire movie was a total power move!!!

5 stars overall, and you should 100% read it!!!

Thank you NetGalley for giving me this ARC!
