This is one of those books that I wanted to like more than I liked it. It is a sweet, straight-forward telling of Stacy's story. It is not a typical story and for that it is interesting, but the writing itself is simple and without any real nuance. Stacy has had a good life for the most part and it reads a little like a fairy tale. Christian readers will probably like this as she mentions faith as having a big impact on her life.
