Another 5 star rating for Jessica Redland.
I’ve loved every page of the next book in the Hedgehog Hollow series, it’s like being wrapped in a cozy blanket being back with Samantha, Josh and all the HH favourites.
This story centres on Josh’s Auntie Lauren and the heartbreaking story of her relationship with best friend/husband Shaun.
Lauren story is very emotional and Jessica doesn’t shy away from subjects that are truly heartbreaking.
I love that she brings in new characters and by the end of the book I know they’re going to be new favourites in the next book too.
I’ve laughed and cried at this book and I’ve even renewed my love of 80s band The Thompson Twins. You have a lot to answer to Jessica.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for an ARC of this fantastic book.

Oh, how lovely it was to be back in Hedgehog Hollow, it’s like being back with treasured friends once again. I’m so sad that this is the penultimate Hedgehog Hollow book, but Jessica Redland writes so well that I have no doubt wherever she takes us next (maybe back to Whitbsborough Bay) it will be wonderful.
As always an enjoyable read which kept my interest from start to finish.
I do like how the book tells two stories (this time Samantha & Lauren). Following the ups & downs of the two friends’ lives and getting to know more of the characters’ individual stories - Samantha’s honeymoon & return home and Lauren’s backstory and current experiences of getting to finally know why her ex-husband, who was also her best friend, left her with no explanation over 25 years earlier and her current developing relationship with Riley, the man who has put her out of her job.
Topics, as always with this author, are sensitively handled and written with compassion and empathy.
I’m so sad that there’s only one more visit to Hedgehog Hollow to go, I thoroughly enjoyed this book & can’t wait for the next.

I always love books by Jessica Redland. Her characters come alive and I feel like I am a part of their happiness and their sadness. Lauren’s story was especially touching, but I love that Jessica brings it all back to Hedgehog Hollow and all the other characters we have come to know. I can’t wait for the last book in this series although I will be sad to see it end.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Another brilliant book in the hedgehog hollow series.

This time the book focuses on. Lauren who currently lives with Samantha’s father. We are taken on Lauren’s journey to find love after two failed marriages.

Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Jessica Redland at her best. Loved this book, far better than the last one. Hedgehog Hollow is an amazing place to visit. The beauty of this book is you don’t need to have read the others. I really enjoyed Lauren’s story and the continuation of Sam’s story. Looking forward to the next one set at Christmas.

When you need to escape to a heartwarming place, you have to pick her books up. She will take you instantly to a place so wonderful you would want to stay there and one such place is the Hedgehog Hollow.

Finding Love at Hedgehog Hollow bought me to this series and author. Since then, she has been my constant favourite. Like all her other books this made me smile, laugh, cry, root for characters and I wished to be among them. She will lift your mood up with her stories and teach you so much about life and other things.

I am taken through an emotional roller coaster with the twists and turns in this one that I didn't expect. It was a delightful read and we get to know Lauren and her past in this one. I love how every character is given their space throughout the series. We see less of Sam in this one but she being the integral part will always be there.

Jessica Redland gives so much emotions and depth to her books you can't help but relate to every character and feel what they are going through. She makes you fall in love with them.

The another plus in this one was unique element she added that was unexpected and I liked it alot. I can't wait for the final installment. I highly recommend this series.

Returning to Hedgehog Hollow is always a rather special experience. Jessica Redland has built a whole community of wonderful characters whose stories interweave in a glorious tapestry to create this glorious series. This story picks up where the last book ended, as Sam and Josh have tied the knot before their extended families. The stories that have brought them to this point have been difficult, at times, but always uplifting.
This time, we follow the story of Lauren. Josh’s aunt and currently landlady to Sam’s dad. It’s a strange set of circumstances that seem perfect in the context of the book. Lauren finds that her job is in jeopardy and the solutions aren’t acceptable. What is a surprise, to both Lauren and the reader, is that she’s feeling attracted to another man despite the fact that her heart belongs to her first love, ex-husband Shaun. We then delve into the backstory of Lauren and how she has come to be single. As you may imagine, she’s not had a smooth path and I was genuinely gutted for her as the stories unfolded.
Presented with an opportunity to learn more about where her love life went wrong, Lauren explores the past. Of course, this is a Jessica Redland book so don’t try to guess what’s coming next, as you’ll enjoy it more if you just go with the flow.
Naturally, this book isn’t just about Lauren as we follow Sam and Josh on honeymoon. A simple mistake brings back some of Sam’s stress. She’s now much better equipped to deal with her panics, but she still tortures herself with questions and what if scenarios. Of course, she’s married Josh who is probably the kindest man around.
There are plenty more hedgehogs and surprises as a couple of family members turn over a new leaf. Each book in this series is better than the last. I’m not sure if it’s just because they each feel like I’m visiting old friends, but they are all truly special.
I enjoyed escaping to Hedgehog Hollow and adore Jessica Redland’s writing.

Chasing Dreams at Hedgehog Hollow is book 5 in the series. I have previously read book 4 but I don't feel you need to read the previous books to know what is happening. This, like all the other books I have read by Jessica Redland, is beautifully written and immediately draws the reader in. It has all the emotions I expected from this author's books - It's just perfect.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for my ARC.

Fans of this super cute but contemporary series will love this. Once again Jessica Redland got this just right so that even though it was Lauren's story the hedgehogs and rescue centre still featured. I loved getting to know Lauren and her positive attitude to life - as she puts it ""shit happens and its how you deal with it that makes you happy or miserable". But I also loved catching up with all the other characters, especially Chloe who's probably my favourite, and seeing how their stories and lives are continuing. And, if you haven't read any of the previous ones but like feel-good stories about relationships (family, friends and romantic) with a great cast of genuinely nice and likeable characters (including the prickly ones) the I've doubt that you'll also love this. I can't wait for the next and sadly last installment from this brilliant series....

Another great read from hedgehog hollow and Jessica Redland. I loved this read as I did the others in the series.

Book 5 in this series and again the emotions were pouring through this book, laugh, cry, gasp, it is fabulous, I really enjoyed this story line, some unexpected twists and turns, I am looking forward to number 6 but as it will be the last I will be sad but also excited to see what Jessica comes up with yet, I have read most of her books now and I can safely say that there has not been one bad one.

This was another great trip to hedgehog hollow. It feels like a trip to somewhere familiar now after reading the rest of the series. This book felt different to the rest as the main focus was taken away from Samantha but nonetheless it was beautiful and enjoyable

Another absolute delight of a read from Jessica Redland. It is so wonderful to hear stories from other characters in the Hedgehog Hollow series, with a few hedgehogs thrown in too (not literally, I might add). Will always continue to recommend this series!

I absolutely adore the Hedgehog Hollow series and this latest instalment is no different. I love that I can slip effortlessly between the covers of these books and enjoy the cosy warmth of these beautifully depicted characters, their heartwarming friendships and struggles to find their soulmates.
I was absorbed in Chasing Dreams at Hedgehog Hollow as soon as the story began and enjoyed getting to know Lauren better through the insights into her past. I can't wait for the sixth and final instalment of the series, although I will be very sad that it will be the final book. I'm hoping Jessica Redland will find a way of incorporating some of the characters into future books, fingers crossed!

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

It was lovely to be back at Hedgehog Hollow, meeting up with the characters that we’ve got to know and love.

This book was about Lauren, we met her on the last book. I enjoyed reading about her previous life, and how the chapters was switched between Sam and Lauren’s viewpoints. I was eager to know how things would go with Riley.

To be a part of Sam and Josh's lives, who are now married was beautiful. I’m looking forward to the next book, to find out what happens next in the characters lives who feel like friends, and we’ve come to love.

I highly recommend this series.

This time the main character is Lauren, Josh's aunt, although all the regulars are there. She has been unlucky in life, with two failed marriages, but is there a chance for a new relationship or is she destined to be alone?
This series is like a warm, cuddly blanket that I become totally immersed in. It is not all bubbly and happy, because life isn't like that, but the overall balance is definitely positive. It does cover some difficult subjects in a sensitive manner and there are some definite surprises, but all the time I was rooting for a happy outcome for Lauren. There is one more book to come in the series, which will be a bittersweet moment as I've loved it, but I hadn't wait to read it.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.
