It is enjoyable enough, it just felt a bit slow at the beginning and rushed at the end.

While the premise was great, there were a few niggles that prevented me from enjoying the book as much as I thought I would: I didn't fully understand the side-plot with Rupert's tea, and there are facets (like Kwasi's aunties, the link to the yellow house or the character of Jericho) that just felt underdeveloped/ could have been explored more.

Saying all that, Kwasi is a charming character and you definitely root for him to succeed.

When Kwasi's family suddenly move to the other side of London, his whole world changes. And it's a world he reflects in his drawings.

On the whole, it's not a great move. Apart from The Chest on the High Street, and the people involved with it
