It just was not for me, it felt rushed and I wish that there had been more set up for the characters before the plot.

Rage Unleashed is my first book by J.K. Jones and I'm excited to see where this story leads us. Rage Unleashed felt more like a setting/prelude to things. It was quite slow pacing and I feel like it was more about establishing characters and motives. Hopefully the second book will pick up pace a little! I still enjoyed but found myself frustrated at times.

I think this book was engaging, but confusing. I kind of just felt dropped into the story without any chance to connect to the characters or the couple before the plot started happening. There were some decent twists that I didn't see coming, but the sheer volume of characters and types of creatures that exist in this story were hard to keep up with. I also felt like some of the characters, Sasha in particular, were kind of inconsistent. The story has potential and I think in future books the characterization could improve, but I didn't love this one unfortunately.

I was very enticed by the description of this book but unfortunately it never managed to click with me. I did think the story was interesting and offered some very surprising twists. As for the characters it was kind of a split decision. I liked Damian, wasn't really enthused with Sasha and there were a few others that I just hated. I enjoyed the intensity and darkness but wasn't a fan one of the big twists.

This book came across very rushed and the plot was confusing. Pretty decent spice and overall more plot than I even expected but I feel like since it wasn't the necessary focus of the book there should have been more spice. The plot was disturbing.

Sasha is a newly developed omega reluctantly engaged to the pack alpha Damian.

Damian is besotted and trying everything he can to win Sasha over.

Sasha wants to be won over but is afraid of what may happen if he allows it because of a curse he can’t talk about.

Just about every supernatural being possible makes an appearance in this story. Some twists and turns. A lot to confusion about the central relationship.

It’s fun if you don’t think about the plot too deeply.
