A brilliant insightful self-help book. I loved that everything was summarised at the end of the chapters and I picked up a few tips to help me get back on track in my life.

In HOW TO SOAR WITH A BROKEN WING, Marybeth Gregg shares her own life story in a way that is so wise, so grounded, and encouraging that I felt like I was in a deep, truth conversation with a dear friend over a cup of tea. Simple, well-expressed stories opened up my own memories, hopes, fears, so many hidden and forgotten treasures. The exercises are simple, powerful, and transformational--I added them to my morning routine as a way of starting busy days with a mindful, soul-centered approach. What I found most amazing about her story and the book are how she demonstrates that soaring does not require a jet pack, perfect wings, or even a clear, sunny day. Soaring is a decision we make, a path that we take. I received an advance copy of this book and these opinions are my own, unbiased thoughts.

This is a very empowering, uplifting, and emotional read. It shares honest and open stories of the authors own life experiences, as well as giving pointers and guidance for your own life going forwards. The end of chapter summaries are a great recap on what has been explored, and the bullet point questions and guidance, really get you thinking about you work, your mind, how to see the good in your life, and how to make positive changes.
