This was good, but more on a basic level, if you’re looking for more, it won’t be from this book.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

I was really interested in this book and was over the moon when I got accepted for it, However, I found it was quite simple and generic with no real in depth information. Definitely good for those beginning their fitness and health journeys but for those with a bit of knowledge it will definitely be something you have read before.

This is a very comprehensive guide that covers all levels of knowledge around nutrition for sporting types.

Beginner, intermediate and more serious athletes are all considered and catered for. The authors knowledge is clearly extensive, and his advice seems on point.

Quite a lot of info is given, so definitely a case of bang for your buck, and I found it really helpful to read the book in its entirety, rather than skipping to the motivating parts!

Overall a good, useful and inspiring read.

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is quite generic and rarely gets into any real details. A lot of the information is top level so maybe is good for someone just starting to look into nutrition from an athlete’s perspective.
