Love the history of the London castles! This is perfect for any Anglophile preparing for their next tea party. Includes gorgeous photos and recipes from the kitchen of each castle.

I was drawn to this title as I was looking for inspiration for picnic items to bring for our town's street party as part of the Queen's jubilee celebrations.
Written by a royal chef with 13 years' of experience, the book has lots of lovely ideas to tempt both children and adults. Recipes include: gingerbread soldiers, jam pennies, gingerbread bakewell tartlets, mini raspberry scones, caramel apple turnovers and savoury nibbles, such as salmon and cheese wraps and mini cornish pasties. There are also recipes for larger cakes, such as Churchill's fruit cake, strawberry bunting cake and an elderflower cake, inspired by Harry and Meghan's wedding cake!
The photos in this book made my mouth water, the food is so beautifully presented! They are interspersed with scenic images of Royal residences and grounds, so you can really imagine yourself enjoying these treats at a garden party!
The recipes are accompanied with snippets of history, describing the events that these treats were served at and the royals that have enjoyed them.
This lovely book would make a treasured gift that would be referred to again and again for parties or even just a treat for tea in the garden!
Thank you to Netgally, the publisher and the author for the ARC!
