A very useful book for those with gut problems. Not the sort of book to read from start to finish, but to dip into and find lots of useful advice for problems you are suffering from, or in which you have a particular interest. I will certainly use some of the suggestions.

The book is pretty simple and it explains the workings of the digestive system in layman terms. However, there were times I felt there were certain things that were being overly repeated. Furthermore, the author refers to studies, but does not go into full detail about that, but a lit meticulous detail would have boosted his explanations. In addition to these points, the book could have been organized better; it does have a linear structure from explaining the basics and then going into more detail, but there seemed to be a back and forth between certain points, it was repetitive.

This short book is a good intro to the topic. If you're seeking lots of answers this is a starting point. I suspect this will disappoint many readers even though the info is solid. There's just too little of it.

This book is a great primer if you are just starting your gut health investigation. There is a lot of information that is broken down into easily digestible segments. The meal plan that is included is a bit disappointing as it only includes a few recipes.

A really interesting book if you have any issues relating to diet and tummy problems. Sometimes a little too medical but definitely gives a better understanding. A go to book to help work out your issues and offer advice.

My husband has celiac disease and IBS so we’re always looking for things to make life easier on his belly. This book is well-written and very informative. The instructions/suggestions are easy to understand and follow. Not too many understand how gut problems can negatively affect your overall health and well-being. This book shines a light on that and helps you become more aware of the day-to-day things that could impact you overall. We especially liked learning more about how gut health can affect your brain. I highly recommend this useful and informative book. Thank you to the author and NetGalley for gifting me this book in exchange for an honest review.

A well-written and easy-to-follow book about gut health.
This book has topics such as the gut-brain connection and the gut microbiome, along with lots of practical ways to improve our gut health.
If you are wanting to learn about how your gut works and ways to feel better, then I would recommend this book.

Really enjoyed this book! For anyone interested I. Health and wellbeing, gut health has been such a hot mention, but no one really knows that much about it. This sheds light on a lot of ways tackle gut problems and studies behind these. I found the tips on how to balance my own gut, especially the chapter on ways to improve gut health particularly interesting. Lots of new ways of thinking about the stomach!

This was a comprehensive book covering a lot of topics and very informational. However, I didn't appreciate the "10-day detox diet" ad at the beginning of the ebook. I do not believe in detox diets and find them very harmful to be placed in a book like this.

I was disappointed by this book. It didn't have anything new to offer, all the information in it has been detailed before and better by more eminent writers.
I wouldn't recommend it and only give it 2 stars.

Your Super Gut Feeling Restored is very informative and has lots of great content. Although some of the information is common knowledge, the way that it connects to the other facts, and the way everything is explained and connected is very helpful. I feel like this is a great book for those wanting to find out more about gut health. Which honestly should be most everyone!

For most of us, feeling run down, battling a cold or generally feeling that our get up and go and got up and gone, is just a fact of life. It’s the repercussions we accept for living busy, modern lives. But this compact book suggests that actually, these symptoms might be because our gut health is poor, and with a little TLC we can continue to live busy lives, but enjoy them because our health is restored.

Full of information, this book gives you all the knowledge you need to look after your gut health, or to be more precise, your gut microbiome. When your gut health is poor, weakened by a poor diet, the impact is huge for our sense of wellbeing. We feel tired, we lack the ability to fight off bugs and our mental health can also be affected. But keeping that microbiome in balance can be transformational for our energy and zest for life.

I was especially interested in the connection between the gut and the brain, in fact author Dr Robertino Bedenian, calls the gut our “second brain”, in that the health of one is reflected in the wellness of the other. Anyone who has ever had a stressful day ahead of them and then found themselves nursing an upset stomach will already recognise the link.

This book is concise and, in the main, accessible - a useful manual for injecting a little more vitality into your life.

This is a very good book that was educational. The connection of communication between the body and what we eat. I must say, it certainly got me to observe my gut health and make changes to my diet for the better.

Having just completed Dr. Bedenian’s book, “Your Super Gut Feeling Restored”, I understand why over the past several decades our country’s overall health has continued to decline adding new disorders of the mind and body with never-ending newly created pharmaceuticals as treatment for them.

Dr. Bedenian explains diseases and complex concepts in an easy-to-read style, not too much or overly technical, just right. It is a relatively new shift in understanding of how our bodies breakdown and what we need to change to achieve our best health. How the brain, gut and bacteria communicate is essential to learn. Today’s average diet is very different from our relatives going back just 2-3 generations. The introduction of processed food, adding sugars to almost everything and the overuse of fats included in our food choices resulting to our detriment.

The concluding and my favorite chapter gives hope and the key to repairing your Gut-Brain Connection with a detailed 4-Week Gut Restoration Diet including some additional easy recipes. The reward in following the diet plan will be to rid your body of bad bacteria and restore healthy bacteria in the intestine.

This book is an essential read for anyone and everyone with a health issue or knows of someone with a health concern. I am excited to improve my physical and mental health so I'm starting the 4-Week Gut Restoration Diet today.

This is a very informative book written in a casual, easy to read manner. There are many summaries and recaps so the reader can set it down and come back to it later. I think this is an excellent feature of the book because it breaks the content down into bite -sized chunks that are easy to digest, whether the reader wants to sit down and consume it all in one go, or to come back to it and read it in small spurts. The book is ideal for just about everyone because its content is relevant to us all.

I found this to be educational and informative. This would make an ideal read for anyone who is experiencing digestive issues or anyone looking to make healthy changes to their diet.

The writing was easy to follow making the medical aspect easy to understand. This is a great non-fiction read covering everything about our guts and what steps we can take to ensure we are in tune with our body needs!

This book provided good insight. I've had problems with my gut and I believe that the information in this book will help me to better manage what goes in my body to help my body to function as it should.
