This is my favourite book of the year so far! I absolutely loved it for so many reasons. Yes its a romance, but its so much more. It enters the lives of the three main characters and explores what is happening in their lives, their goals and their dreams. Set in the Californian sunshine the setting allows for blissful escapism. It’s a gentle read but also one I just couldn’t put down. If you’re looking for a book to soothe your soul whilst entertaining you at the same time this is the book you should read.

I listened to this book whilst dog walking and it entertained me as I went. A fine tale and well narrated but I had no trouble in switching it off between walks. I will look out for more books by this author.

This book was a perfectly entertaining, run of the mill contemporary romance. Nothing particularly stood out against the other romances of this genre, the characters were okay, the plot was okay, the story developed as you would imagine.

I didn’t particularly connect to the characters or was overly fond of them. Beige with an old fashioned feel novel about it. This was my first experience of this authors writing, and there’s nothing bad to say or to pinpoint but I didn’t connect to it all that much. Still entertaining audiobook though, with the narrator performing it brilliantly.
