Loved it. 5 🌟
As a psychologist specializing in domestic abuse, Naomi has found it hard to avoid becoming overly invested in her clients’ lives. But after helping Jacob make the decision to leave his wife, Naomi worries that she’s taken things too far. Then Jacob goes missing, and her files on him vanish. But as the police start asking questions about Jacob, Naomi’s own dark past emerges. And as the truth comes to light, it seems that it’s not just her clients who are in danger.
Loved this one very much. Sandie's best work till date.
Thanks to NetGalley and Pan Macmillan for giving me an advance copy.

One thing you can always rely on with a Sandie Jones novel is her consistency in being able to write a good escapist fireside or beach read, with clever characters and an ending you rarely see coming. While the character of Naomi annoyed me at times with her thoughtless choices, I had to admit that was very real because how many times have each of us made a choice against our better judgement in the pressure of the moment? Nicely paced and an intriguing story line.

Blurb - There are two sides to every story.
He came to me for help with his marriage.
I was alone and afraid. She was there when I needed to talk.
I needed to make him understand that he had to get away.
I knew what I needed to do. I just couldn’t do it on my own. I trusted her.
Now it has gone too far. And I can’t tell anyone what I have done.
Now I have nowhere to turn and I just pray they find me before she does.

This is a great summer read, lots of twists and turns in this fastpaced head spinning psychological thriller. Told from multiple viewpoints with different truths and opinions being shared. Thank you for the chance to read the ARC

“The Blame Game” by Sandie Jones is a one sitting read. Now, I love, love, LOVE me a dysfunctional family thriller, especially when there is a multiple POV narration that has you questioning everything the other person is saying. When you’re unsure of who’s telling the truth and who’s not, when you finally think you’ve worked it out, and then a plot twist happens makes you question everything. It’s an engrossing read; the ultimate escapism. I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys psychological thrillers and anyone who just wants a fast paced and immersive read.

My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for an unbiased review.

Well, first of all, getting approved of a Sandie Jones novel feels like a dream, thank you to the publisher for that.
But in all honesty, this book was a bit let-down for me.
I couldn't connect with the characters, especially the main character Naomi - I was only irritated and annoyed.
I thought the story was okayish, and the plot is too shallow.

Wow ! I absolutely loved this , stayed up way too late as I couldn’t put it down , I have read Sandie’s previous books and thoroughly enjoyed them so I was looking forward to her latest
Naomi a therapist who seems to cross the professional line with some of her clients , only offering help but I found myself shaking my head as she gets. Ore and more involved , when one of her clients goes missing she is top of the list as everyone including her husband believes that they have been having an affair , things get more and more complicated as we know that she is being framed , but by who , the wife , her estranged sister or even her own husband . Excellent reading and a great conclusion , 5 stars and I hope hollywood is reading this

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish, what a gripping plot and two really flawed protagonists, just didn’t know which way the story will turn next. Five of five stars.

Just as good as The Guilt Trip and The Other Woman! A villain & twists galore here to rival Pammie. Sandie is always about 6 steps ahead of me! Her thrillers are always so intelligent and unpredictable and this one didn’t disappoint. I also appreciated learning about Naomi’s work as a psychotherapist.
