It is what it says it is. As an asexual though, I am probably not the target audience. My natural inclinations made me not quite finish it, but if you enjoy things like this (if you are someone who enjoys sex), by all means go for it.

Informative, inclusive and a bit of fun! A nice little way to spice up your bedroom life, or just a fun read!

Does what it says on the tin basically. A good little guide. Probably better in book form than ebook.

Great collection ;D

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me access to the book in exchange for my honest feedback.

Well, this isn’t strictly the Karma Sutra, but it certainly serves as what it wants to be instead – a day by day guide to a year’s worth of sexual positions. It apparently cribs from other, similar texts as well as the most-known, but instead of all the yacking about care, attention, yonis and lingams and so much else, this is just down to the bare boners. And the full gamut of techniques is here – from days when it’s more about the foreplay, with touch, massage, nibbling and holding, to hard-core yogic manoeuvring and the like.

And it is is definitely, suitably, adult and broad-minded only. You’re halfway into January (or two weeks closer to your next anniversary, say – but beware day 211 is for the autumn) and you’ve already had girl-on-girl oral and sex with strap-ons, and boy-on-boy. You’ve also had an oral practise that many deem unsavoury, but in the tiniest snippets of titles and quotes here is “a flare of excitement that’s sure to dazzle”, so “tell them how much you love this”. Rest assured there are some variants to come throughout the year to get used to it, if needed.

But this needs to be inclusive, this day and age, and it sure is. You get larger bodies, mohicans, people with definite things pointing them out to be ethnic minorities, and guys in wheelchairs – just hardly any older characters of note, alas. Heck, I dare say the pink background is to make this appeal to the ladies more. But not all the lasses will really feel the need to emulate the locations chosen here, which range from the kitchen floor to the walk-in closet to the, er, private jet and public loo, aquarium floor, space travel museum display and car scrap yard. Having performed in “Equus” I had to doubt the one in the middle of a horse stable, animals looking on (before they got blinded in desperate teenaged rage, mind…) The line drawings are suitable guides to what’s going on, in a nicely positive, loving kind of way – until you see just how many legs go missing, to quite disconcerting extent at times.

Throughout my reviewing career, whenever a book like this has come my way I’ve always had a partner to give it a road test with; not this time, unfortunately. And anyway, for all the treat of having a proper use of it, it is very much to be a gift book to be bought and given while being a gift for the buyer as much as the recipient. But treat it certainly is. Apart from leap years.

Thank you to NetGalley and DK for this eARC. All thoughts are my own.

This book is an inclusive illustrated guide for sex positions. The illustrations were eye-catching and inclusive, and it gives tips and explanations about the positions, some of which though I'm not sure how they can get done without breaking a bone. The only negative is that it's not that great looking at it with a kindle, but it's best to get the physical edition.

Informative, visually arresting and comprehensive in nature. This book is richly insightful about sex.
A must have.

This is a good book, however it’s not that easy to read on kindle.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

Fun illustrations showing different ways to enjoy your lovers body. The book is also much more inclusive which is a great update to a popular book.
Personally I would recommend a physical copy of this book as it would be easier to look through as the ebook wasn’t great for just ‘flicking’ through.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this book.

An update of the classic text, I loved the fact it’s more inclusive now and the illustrations feel natural, the format of the kindle version I got made this awkward to read, but I know on publication it won’t have that issue

Thanks to net galley and the publisher for a free copy in return for an honest review

Artistically illustrated to show ways on how to be a good lover. It isn’t all just positions, this is also about loving the body and taking time to just be with your partner. And in this book your partner is anyone - it is all inclusive of sexuality as well as body shapes and sizes.
What I struggled with was the background scenes, they were so bizarre or out of context at times it distracts from the purpose of the book

This book is fun way to suggest spending some time with your partner. You can just look through it together or try to recreate some of the positions.

This is not a vulgar book, the positions are drawn illustratively rather than pornographically, and the sentences accompanying the figures are taken right out of the kamasutra and resemble little poems rather than clinical descriptions.
For many, but not all of course.

I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher. This another variation of the Kama Sutra where it is more inclusive and only gives brief words for each position. The art is simplistic yet colourful. Overall it isn't a bad book.

The good old book has been given an update. Straight to the point images of sexual positions. Gone is the bearded guy of old. Replaced with drawings of people of all shapes/sizes/styles and tattoo's. Encompasses both traditional male/ female. But also same sex.
Whilst updated with a position of the day. and the chance to pick a random position and the back of the book. Images of couples on plane's and in shop changing rooms just make you giggle. (I'm sure your stewardess would have something to say).
Perhaps there could be another edition with real pictures.
Many thanks to DK and Netgalley for the opportunity to see an ARC
