A lovely book. Two people who judge each other wrongly but end up in falling in love. I loved the art class. Hazel’s father was so protective of his daughter and her brother was so understanding . Barney was a great character. Children are so much forgiving than adults. Great to be back at Heritage coast but is a stand alone book. Very enjoyable

This is the fifth in the Heritage Cove series of books. Although I have not read any others in the series, this book is equally as good to read as a standalone.

It is based on the stables at Heritage View run by Arnold and his sister Hazel. After an accident at the stables a few years previously, Hazel no longer teaches children, causing disagreement with her brother. When the new local vet arrives, he stables his daughter's horse there. Events unfold, will Hazel get her confidence and trust back?

A sweet story about two people finding each other as they move on from past traumatic accidents. I liked both characters and the story was enjoyable.

A mild liking of horses helps when you read this book as it is focused around the stables. Few serious undertones of guilt but mostly light. Slightly over descriptive for me, we don't need to know if the bag was reusable. Nice characters, nice ending.

What a scrumptious feel good read! I needed something light hearted to get me out of a reading slump and this was perfect! It did have serious undertones but was done in a really easy read way and has me smiling throughout! I will definitely be reading more by this author!
