I wasn’t keen on this book and my best explanation for that is that it was just too American and in particular small town America.
The characters were not likeable and although i did enjoy some of the dialogue it wasn’t enough to redeem the book. I have to admit I skim read the last third. which I hate doing but bette4 than a dnf I hope.
