This was very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about all the various types of "diets" by a professional who wasn't trying to sell me one in particular. It was written plainly and clearly enough so that an incredibly unscientific mind could grasp it. A great book for people interested in how we fuel our bodies through food and the various approaches one can take.

I skipped a lot of the material concerning athletes as not relevant to me but I still found a lot in this book to interest and inform me. For example the chapter on vegans and vegetarians was excellent. As were the bits of information relevant to me. A book worth reading. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for giving me a copy of the book.
