Oh. My. God. What a book. This is up there as one of the greats in this genre for me. My cheeks literally hurt from smiling through this delightful story.

I was hooked from page 1 and entertained until the final word.

The characters are engaging, the plot is different and fun and oh my goodness it is just the sweetest, most fun story I’ve read in a long time!! Obsessed!!!

It’s difficult in this day and age for rom coms to be truly original they are tropey by their very nature and that’s why we love them with Dream On Angie Hockman manages to pull off something truly different and I honestly didn’t know how it was all going to pan out. Cass gets in a car accident and wakes up after being in a coma with memories of her lovely handsome boyfriend Devin but everyone tells her Devin doesn’t exist and he’s just a brain burp. A year goes by as Cass tries to put him behind her but then she walks into a flower shop and there he is, alive and in the flesh with no idea who Cass is. Brilliant! I enjoyed this so much, it was so weird and wonderful and kept me me guessing until the end. Top stuff.

Having enjoyed Angie Hockman's previous book, Shipped, I was interested to see what she would do next.
This was definitely a unique plot that would work particularly well on the big screen.
What I really adored about this was the writing style.
It was a really cute romance and even though I'm not normally a huge fan of love triangle stories, I liked this one.
If you're looking for a sweet but still emotional romance, I would certainly recommend picking this up.
I look forward to Angie Hockman's next book as she is quickly becoming a firm favourite of mine.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

After reading Shipped and LOVING IT, while I was excited to get the opportunity to read and review Dream On, I was also nervous as to whether or not it would live up to my expectations. Spoiler: IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN SHIPPED.

Firstly, the plot was by far the most interesting, original and captivating plot compared to the often-regurgitated plots commonly found in the romance genre. It was entertaining to read, and I would genuinely love to see it as a movie!

Hockman is the gift that keeps giving, and the most entertaining aspect of the entire book is that even for the avid romance readers like me who think they can predict where the story is going, ARE DEFEATED. NOTHING in the book is predictable, it is full of twists and turns that keep you entertained and hooked as readers.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS!

Love triangles usually aren't my thing but I absolutely ate this one up. There were a few cute moments that I was kicking my feet with cuteness and swooning so hard!

Another major bonus for me was Cass's friendship with Brie, it felt extremely genuine and mature.

This would be such a fun summer holiday read, I devoured it in a day.

I loved other books by the author in the past and I knew I had to read this one as well.
The cover is sweet and beautiful and colourful, exactly as I like them in my romance books.
Did It lived up to my expectations? Yes it has.
I loved the strong heroine, the disability aspect and how the family life changed and deal with it all . It’s not always easy or not even remotely un stressful, but it’s fulfilling and heartwarming overall.

Perfect for any sweet romance lovers

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

“The memory of finally finding someone after being alone for so long is like a drug: powerful and calming.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t lie, this book was a complete cover request, I was so drawn in that I knew I had to read it, but the beautiful cover definitely matches what’s inside. This was such a lovely book with twists and turns from the start, it definitely didn’t end the way that I expected it to in the first half, but that just made me love it even more.

Although this is a sweet romance, it definitely deals with heavier topics too, such as disability and family drama which help make the book more memorable and heavy.

Read if you love:
💙 Strong female characters
💙 Disability rep
💙 Strong female friendship
💙 Will-they-won’t-they
💙 Twists and turns
💙 Floral shops

This was my first Angie Hockman and I loved it! Now I need to get my hands on Shipped because I know that’s a really popular one! 🥰

(Thank you so much to Headline Eternal and Netgalley for the gifted copy!)

Angie Hockman never disappoints. Dream On is a bit different than her other books, I felt, but still fantastic. I enjoyed the full set of characters, they all felt fantastically friendly and fun. The romance was slow and beautiful, and while it wasn't entirely unexpected, the journey there was still delightful.
