This book is a wild ride and while it certainly won't be for everyone it was an interesting look at a different lifestyle.

This book was not quite as expected. A strange mix of gangsters and a bored trophy wife setting up a business so posh women can pay for sex without feeling as if that is what they are doing! Weird. Even the spice didn't seem to flow. Not the best book for me I'm afraid.

Although the description and the cover are very appealing, unfortunately the plot didn't do it for me. My expectations were partially met since it's a fun, light read, but the story's unfolding wasn't well executed and the writing was odd at times.

Nice mix of sex, intrigue, sex, murder, and sex – if that’s what you are looking for. Well written with beautiful descriptions. I hope another book is coming soon – no pun intended.

Another mistake made by me judging the book by its cover. The story is so underdeveloped and basically just erotica without any polish or prose. DNF

I loved the idea of the book, but it was ill-conceived and not really enjoyable. It pains me to say that. I don't have to love all of the characters, but give me one who I feel can be redeemed in some way...there was no one here for me to champion.

I’m so glad I was given a chance to read and review this! While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I found it to be quite an enjoyable read! It has just enough romance and mystery mixed in to keep it interesting and not just pure erotic scenes only!

Sex fuelled dramatic mystery.

The story line continues to move quickly switching between drama and sex, keeping the reader enticed into the story. The characters are expectedly shallow, with little real depth developed through the story.

Jessica Esposito and her posh friends are more interested in having sex than being the beautiful accessory to wealthy husbands. Enter a group of young, hot guys in need of cash, and a way to get ahead.

When the corporation headed by Jessica’s husband becomes embroiled in a contentious takeover bid and a famous pop star turns up dead at a party they attend, the women’s secrets begin to flow, forcing Jessica to discover who is divulging the information that’s putting her marriage—and her life—in danger.

Although the story flows, a shorter version of the book would tighten the flow, making the story more cohesive.

Jessica has it all; money, jewelry, friends, and more. But she isn't satisfied in her marriage and she suspects she isn't alone in that feeling. She starts a club that allows people to live out their desires and fantasies. When a murder happens at a party, she doesn't think much of it. But when her life starts seemingly falling apart, there may be more to the story than she knows.

This book unfortunately didn't do it for me. It was predictable, had way too much spice, and was slow until the last few chapters. I was most interested in the murder and scandal of her husbands work and that really only picked up in the last few chapters. I didn't find Jessica particularly likable and truthfully did not care about her or what happened to her. All in all I would probably not recommend this book.

Thank you to the author, publishing company, and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Read as ARC (thank you @netgalley)
Genre: Erotica/Thriller

What starts out as a book club for the bored, rich women in South Florida, transforms into the exclusive, "Club Sunrise."
Invite only and allowing these women to live out their wildest fantasies off of the page, with a wide selection of men to choose from. But of course, nothing can ever stay a secret.
The leader of this revamped book club, Jessica, finds herself getting involved in a bit more than just pleasure. There is murder, corruption, and secrets and Jessica's husband is right in the middle of it.
When Jessica finds herself falling for one of the "book club" options, she realizes she cannot trust anyone.
I felt like there was a lot of unnecessary focus on certain details but then the ending was rushed and unrealistic. Biggest takeaway: Don't join a "book club" for rich women 😀

3.5 rounded up
Didn't expect to like this as much as I did. Thought it would be a quick fun beach read and it was so much more. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

An interesting read that gives a glimpse into the steamy & complicated and layered side of the ultra rich in south Florida. Great writing and story telling, if not a bit over the top but that’s what makes it entertaining!

A book club with eight South Florida women in the ultra-posh neighborhood of Sunrise intercoastal read selections that are deeply erotic. One member, Jessica Esposito is more interested in having sex instead of just reading about it. She is a beautiful accessory to her wealthy husband that is forty years her senior and she wants more excitement. She gathers a group of young sexy men to fulfill the fantasy of each of the women. Things get complicated when a famous pop star turns up dead at a party that they attend and then it gets worse when Jessica's husband corporation is involved in a contentious takeover bid. Things get complicated and their lives are in danger. This is an interesting book.

I have a few thoughts. First, I don't think I processed that this was an erotica. Wow was there a lot of sex. While I am no prude, I think there should be more of a backstory. That being said, the characters were likeable and the writing was really good. Very descriptive and that author clearly has a knack for word choice.

Jessica Esposita, the wife of a wealthy business owner creates a "book club" when she realizes that her and others in her friend group have an interest in exploring sexually with other men in the bedroom. Soon the women are having their sexual fantasies fulfilled (in secret) but not all the men are who they claim to be. This book contains sex, secrets and murder.
I almost didn't read this books because of the "erotica" label but it wasn't AS graphic as I thought it would be. I have read other books labeled as romance that are about just as graphic. The one difference in this book is that it is multiple sexual encounters/relationships whereas more romance style novels it is one couple. There are also a lot of other aspects of the book that may draw you in like some mystery/suspense.
I did feel like the some of the character development/plot was lacking - I felt as though there could have been more to the story in that regard - but like I said I have not read erotica style novels before and that may not be the intent/focus for most readers.
In general I did enjoy it - it was a quick read, I was invested in the story line and wanted to know what would happen next!
I would rate it 3.5 stars - but will round it up to 4 since I really was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did and I am not as familiar with books in this genre.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review an advanced readers copy of this book! This in no way affects my review, and all opinions are my own.

This book was simply not good. It was plotless and somehow felt racially insensitive to me. Honestly, a pain to get through. DNFed at 20%.

Very drawn out and way too long. Story moved very slowly. Could not finish the book. Only got through about 50%. Sorry just not my cup of tea.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy.

If you like hot steamy books than this one’s for you your perfect holiday read.

Jessica Esposito is living the dream with her luxury mansion, cash in the bank, flash cars . She is married to Al who is many years older than her. Jessica realises that there is something missing from the lives of her friends and herself so she starts a bookclub with a difference. The women that will not only get to read the steamy romances that they get to live it with the hunky guys that are installed in the club. With everyone sworn to secrecy with a nondisclosure agreement.

I was enjoying this book and the twists and turns that came with it however I did feel that towards the end of the book the author almost got bored and was in a rush to tie up the storylines. I would’ve liked to have seen more detail to the ending. But if you just want to sexy novel without a backstory then you’ll love this one.

Many thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to see an ARC

Club Sunrise by James Suriano is one of the greatest erotica novels I have read to date. With plenty of back story for the main characters, a mystery/crime story line that will leave you discombobulated at the end with so many tid bits of information sprinkled throughout that when you finish the novel you realise you should have figured it all out from the start. In relation to the erotic fiction sprinkled into this novel, James Suriano knew exactly what I wanted from this novel & truly took me along on the journey of Club Sunrise. Absolutely loved this book & hope to see more future best sellers from James Suriano soon.
