This is a beautiful Women’s Fiction book, which I really loved reading.

This is the story of Hope and Cade, who come together after they have both been through a lot and are grieving. Together they heal, and they find solace in each other.

I especially liked the part of the book about the dog shelter, and the lovely dog that Hope got acquainted with and helped.

This is such a heartwarming and emotional book, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I recommend it highly.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
This author is known for writing clean romantic fiction, and this book is no exception to the genre. I thought the link between Hope and Cabe (military) was interesting and introduced the opportunity for exploring the issues experienced by veterans, although this was a little over-egged at the end, as if we needed a lesson in understanding sacrifice and mental health problems. The subplot around Callie, her brother Ben, Spencer and the Coach did not interest me and seemed to be a way of filling extra pages. I didn't feel that this book was one of Debbie's best, it just felt like a very quick, light read with little substance.

Debbie Marcomber strikes again with another poignant tale, or in this case 3 tales in one. 5 stars doesn't cut it, this had me on the edge of my seat throughout truly a book that has to be read in one sitting.

Good read. Great characters, enjoyed the setting, lots of side stories weaved into it and it flowed really well. A good read for a rubbish day. Will make you feel better!

Hope agrees to help at a local animal shelter and is drawn to a dog who is destined to be destroyed. She slowly builds the dogs confidence and comes to the attention of one of the other volunteers who is carrying out his community service at the home after a spot of trouble,
I loved the slow build, gaining trust and confidence and providing a big support to each other whilst they are both nursing inner turmoil.
Any book with a rescue dog draws me right in and I loved the slow build romance and growing friendships.

Debbie Macomber books are a little slice of heaven, easy reading pure romance and what I like to call Sunday night tv
The best Is yet to come is a great example of this.
Cade is an injured army veteran who is in trouble with the law, with his bad, self pitying attitude he got himself into a drunken brawl and is now standing in front of the judge and his mother whom he hasn’t spoken to for years.
Cade didn’t want to follow his fathers dream of his only son becoming a lawyer like him and so a massive argument broke out and Cade signed up for the army.
Now six years later Cade has been discharged after injuring his leg during a battle which saw him loose his 2 best friends. Suffering survival guilt, he’s lost interest in himself.
Sentenced to therapy, mentally and physically and community service hours by a sympathetic judge whose son was a soldier, Cade finds himself working at the local dog rehoming centre where he meets Hope.
Hope has moved to Oceanside for a new start - having no family left after her twin brother Hudson was killed in service. Taking up a position in the local high school, hope soon finds herself becoming involved in the teen dramas of some of her students like Geeky Spencer who is desperately in love with Callie the most prettiest and popular girl in school.
Determined to make new friends Hope volunteers at the local dog shelter where she falls for aggressive dog Shadow - whom if can’t be tamed will have to be put down.
Her determination to win the dog round catches the eye of Cade and soon romance ensues.
I really loved this book and couldn’t put it down, read it in 2 days as wanted to see what happened next.
Lovely story, wonderfully told.
A must read for all Debbie Macomber fans

After the devastating loss of her twin brother, Hope Goodwin packs up her things and moves across the country for a fresh start. Arriving in Oceanside, Hope finds solace walking on the beach and teaching history at the local high school. Until she meets John Harrison and everything changes.

John, like Hope's twin brother, is ex-military, and after suffering an injury in the line of duty he is discharged and left to deal with his problems alone. Despite their personal struggles, Hope and John grow close, and their friendship blossoms into a love neither could have ever expected.

But as Hope and John begin to move forward in their new life together, secrets from the past resurface and put their relationship to the test. Will the couple find a way through together……

Such a well crafted novel, compelling enough to pull you through and very quick read. I enjoyed it so much from the first page till the end.

This book is a change to the usual ones I have read of Debbie's, this is about military romance, the others I have read have been Christmas novels. I enjoyed this and it shows that Debbie can go further with a change in her story line. Well worth 5 stars

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

My thanks to Netgalley and the Publishers for an early copy of this book for an unbiased review. I have read many of Debbie Macomber's books as she is a favourite author of mine. This story covers family difficulties, friendships, loss and new beginnings. Cade had gone against his Father's wish to continue many generations as a lawyer in the famy business. An arguement ensued and he left to join the military, having no contact with them for 6 years. Following his discharge from the army he had issues which led him on the wrong path. Hope moves to a different County for a new start after the loss of her family. She is a popular teacher at a local school. I like the way each characters way of life is told and how they interact with each other. There are surprises along the way. I would recommend this book.

I haven't had an opportunity to read many books by this author, and the ones I have read have been Christmas stories, so it's been really great to enjoy this new novel. I'm very grateful to have been given an early copy via netgalley and I think if you like romantic stories, and hallmark movies then you will love this one. It's a sweet, warming read and I enjoyed it alot.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

The two main characters in this story are working through a difficult time in their lives, and require each other's friendship.

The dog in the story is also overcoming what happened with him. There was other storylines in the book, but, still the story was easy to though there was so much going on it was keep up with.

I loved the ending, great characters and drama to keep you wanting to read, to find out what happens next.

I recommend this book.
