This book contains three different stories, as you might've guessed from the titles. We follow a different main character in each of them. The three main characters are also best friends so you see all of them in every story for at least a little bit.

We start the book of with Onny's story. And that story set the scene for us. All of this book takes place during one day. It's the 400th year anniversary of the town Moon Ridge and there is going to be a costume ball that night. Onny's parents are hosting and all three friends (better know as the Coven) are attending. More importantly, Onny made love potions for the friends and they need to give them to their crushes before midnight. I really liked Onny's story. It has a scholarly rival and I definitely enjoy those types of stories. While it was all pretty predictable, it was also very enjoyable.

The second story starts the morning of the anniversary ball. And it was my favorite story! Ash is our main character in this one and his pinning for Cassidy was just so sweet. I adored his story, it was very well done and the vibes were immaculate. Ash was a great character to read about, I wouldn't mind a full length book with him as a main character. Also, since these stories are pretty short, there is no unnecessary drama and the story unfolds at a good pace.

The third and last story was True's. This was my least favorite, I didn't mind True as a main character although she wasn't my favorite. And her love interest Orion was amazing. But for them the story developed way too fast. It was only a one day story and they met during the ball. I don't like it when things happen that fast and it just isn't that believable to me unfortunately. Yes I could see their potential but this was the one story that just didn't work over one day. I did like the scene with True's parents!

I also loved the paranormal vibe. It wasn't a lot but just little hints of it, definitely fun to see it all unfold. This is for sure something to read around Halloween, it has the perfect fall/Halloween vibes and is definitely whimsical. I highly recommend this book if you like YA romances! These unfold pretty quickly and like I said, no (or at least not much) unnecessary drama!

When I first started the book I didn't realise there were three stories in one, but once I realised this I actually kind of loved that? It was a unique take on storytelling; introducing the three main characters then branching off into their own individual stories. I will review each arc on their own and then the book as a whole. This review will contain some minor spoilers.

Onny's story.
I loved Onny as a character, she was truly an absolute vibe for me. She seemed to have roped her best friends in her plot after finding her grandmother's letter about a love potion. What I will say about her story is, I found it a little predictable. I knew her love interested the second I met the character, yet I still loved the build-up to the two characters realising it.

Ash's story.
Artist Ash truly stole my heart. Being an arty person myself, I related to him. I did feel the 'watching the pretty girl from afar' could've gone is a stalkerish territory but I'm glad that was reined in. Their love felt true and the mutual emotions just were perfect. My favourite scene was the pair inside the Skeleton Shack, when they entered the room with the maple trees, Written beautifully and the way the masks were described too. Loved it.

True's story.
I was curious about True's story, being she's anti-love and seemed to tease her best friends about their plans with love. But her story threw me through a loop; the fact she found self-love and acceptance for who she is, and owned it. Stunning! I also liked how her 'love' was her yin to her yang, opposites attract after all.

The story as a whole.
This book was filled with so much magic, like I wish there were more stories set in Moonridge because I would read them all. I finished this book in under 24hours, it's truly a page turner. Fans of the craft and Sabrina would absolutely love this book. The dynamic duo of the Science teacher & the mayor, I loved their relationship and it just felt so natural. I liked how they acted as guides for the three main characters as well that provided little hints along the way but not in an obvious way. Overall, this was a really fun and enjoyable read, and provided a unique take on story telling.

I loved this soooo much. The characters? The humour? The plot? Amazing. This would've been so nice to read during autumn/winter. There were a couple of mistakes with tenses, but I think it's because I was reading the arc rather than the kindle release. Anyhow, very good, I loved all three stories. Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this ebook.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for providing me with the ARC of Three Kisses, One Midnight in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This book is absolutely perfect for Halloween season; it’s a collection of 3 magical, quirky romantic stories full of all the wondrous aspects of love, witchcraft, ghosts and magical whimsy.

The book introduces us to Onny, a teen witch, and her friends, Ash and True, who live in the town of Moon Ridge. One of those small American towns with a cosy, magical feel and of course a town myth about love, and of course a ghost.

The 3 stories are all set around Halloween and the masquerade ball that Onny’s parents are hosting, a love spell left to Onny by her recently deceased grandmother, love and of course the town myth.

The stories are just lovely, with the perfect tone and depth of story to pull you into the lives and loves of the three friends, delivering the sweetness and excitement of new and at times unexpected love.

A decent 3.5 stars - this will definitely be a 4 or 4+ for a younger YA reader.

5 stars for the first story btw!

this book has some really lovely passages that did a fantastic job of setting the mood. it would be ideal to read this around halloween because it fits the mood of the holiday so well. also this novel perfectly captured the feeling it was trying to convey, i was enjoying it so much especially on onny’s story.

even when the plot was so cliched that i could actually guess how it would end, the writing kept me interested in finding out what happened next. onny, alexander the great-looking and byron frost’s story was especially so dear to me (academic rivals! i love you!). they’re a Classic and never gets old. period. unfortunately i didn't find the other two stories to be as compelling or noteworthy. still adorable though.

read this if you like a spooky vibes, with lots of witchcrafts and an autumnal setting in a small town filled with magic and a long history of halloween.

This book is the perfect YA book for the fall/spooky season: cute, quirky romance; witchcraft and spells, and spellbinding descriptions of magical whimsy. I am definitely giving this book a re-read during autumn time.

The story follows Onny, a witch, and her friends, Ash and True, in the town of Moon Ridge - I adore small town books, and this town in particular gave me Mystic Falls vibes. If you're a TVD fan, I feel as if you'd love this book. There are three novellas in the book, following each of the characters who are attending a masquerade ball on Halloween.

The entire book was just enchanting, and I could easily pick up Roshani Chokshi's beautiful, flowery, lyrical writing throughout the story. If you've read any of her other books, you'd know her writing style is the epitome of purple prose, in a good way.

Overall, if you're looking for a sweet romance for the Halloween season, then this is the book for you. I would say this book is catered more towards younger audiences, but is a cute fluffy read regardless.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A really sweet, charming book of three novellas that is perfect reading for Halloween. For me, Onny’s story was perfect - so, so funny and sparky and romantic that the other two stories fell a bit flat afterwards
. I would have loved to read a full length novel in Onny’s voice.

Loved the small town setting, the friendship between the three main characters and the Hocus Pocus rom-com vibes.

The story was fun and cute, and my favourite was definitely the rivals-to-lovers one. However, I strongly disliked the characters' personalities because they sounded like literal thirteen-year-olds, and obviously I was very displeased to find out that they were in their late teens. As someone who is also in her late teens, I can assure you that none of us actually behave/talk/act like any of these characters. Grown adults must stop writing about teenagers as sappy pappy creatures whose only passing thought is romance. It's not.

Onny’s grandmother has left her the recipe for a love potion she swears will bring out the best of any connection. The plan is simple – at the Moon Ridge party hosted by Onny’s family, each friend will drink some of the love potion with their intended love match. But crushes might not equate to true love, and the correct matches may leave ‘The Coven’ shaking.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the plot and how much I was drawn in when reading Three Kisses, One Midnight. Split into three mini stories following each one of ‘The Coven’ in their quest for romance, I found that this made the book more manageable and helped to separate important little key details which were then used in the other stories. I loved the push for romance in the book and found it was a really unique little plot.

The characters of Three Kisses, One Midnight were brilliant. Apollonia or ‘Onny’ was a very eccentric character with incredible spunk, wit and spark. Her interactions with not only Byron but her friends through text messages really made me chuckle. Ash’s silent and gentle demeanour was a refreshing change to how some males characters are perceived in fiction. I liked seeing how artsy and creative he was and it was interesting to see how his introverted personality was portrayed in the story. True was a rougher character than I expected, but I liked her. My heart hurt for her as she recounted how her ex had treated her and made her feel.

My favourite couple was Onny and Byron who had one of my all time favourite romantic tropes – enemies to lovers. They had such special chemistry, full of banter and sarcasm. Despite the insults, you could see there was genuine concern for each other even if the characters didn’t want to admit it to themselves or each other. Though their relationship was predictable from the beginning of the story, I really enjoyed how it unfolded. I would have liked to see some more moments between Onny and Byron as a result.

Whilst I was really captured by Onny and Byron, and maybe even True and Orion, the romance story between Ash and Cassidy struggled to keep me interested. They were probably my least favourite couple of the book. I’m not sure exactly what made me dislike them so much, especially considering how lovely Ash was as a character. I was glad it was sandwiched in the middle of the book as I may have considered finishing the book prematurely otherwise.

Romantic, eccentric and cute.

I didn’t expect to enjoy Three Kisses, One Midnight as much as I did. I’m not a massive YA fantasy book lover but this book really made the whole genre quite enjoyable to me. I’d love to read more books like this in the future. As the book was split into three mini romance stories, it was super easy and simple to read. I loved the characters and how unique their personalities were. Though my favourite couple was Onny and Byron, I was a little disappointed that the other romances weren’t as special.

'Three Kisses, One Midnight' is a sweet, ya romance that follows three friends Onny, Ash & True - otherwise known as The Coven - who plan to use a love potion at Moon Ridge's Halloween masquerade ball to find their true love.

Split into three novellas (each with their own HEA) and the most adorable epilogue, 'Three Kisses, One Midnight' serves all the cute, fluffy and witchy (-adjacent) vibes, set against the backdrop of the magical Moon Ridge. The atmosphere throughout the novella's was just so whimsical, you can't help but feel charmed from beginning to end. It was definitely giving me the perfect autumnal hallmark movie feels, which I adored.

Of the three stories, Onny's was definitely my favourite - I will forever be a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers romance and I connected with Onny's character the most.
I also really enjoyed the second novella, which was Ash's story and served some of my favourite tropes - it's always been you/mutual pining and sunshine x sunshine? Immaculate.
True's story was my least favourite, I just struggled to connect to the plot and True who was a bit too sceptical for my particular taste. That being said, the third novella was by no means bad, for me it just didn't meet my expectations after having read the first two.

'Three Kisses, One Midnight' was a lighthearted and fun romance, with subtle touches of magic woven throughout, While it skews more to the younger side of YA, there is much to be enjoyed by all and will be a perfect autumn/halloween read!

4.5 stars

Three Kisses, One Midnight was such a delightful surprise! It was so fun and sweet to read, with the magical atmosphere and supernatural elements. I loved these stories and how they intertwined together. I particularly adored Onny and True's narratives, and the epilogue wrapped up the story perfectly.

This was a really adorable and autumnal story, that was written beautifully, and was easy and quick to read. I loved the atmosphere and the effortless way the stories were written, however I struggled with the dynamic, and layout of the book. The first story was well developed, and probably my favourite, the other two stories were still very cute, but didn't have my full attention.

Thank you to the publisher (Hodder, I love you and you just keep feeding us with more beautiful books) and NetGalley for this eARC of "Three Kisses, One Midnight" by Evelyn Skye, Sandhya Menon and Roshani Chokshi.

I loved this. I loved every single part of this book and it has now become my heart and soul. My favourite story would have to be Onny because I just got attached to her.

Words fail to explain how mind-blowingly gorgeous this book was.
