It took a few chapters to get into this book. The characters were okay and it felt like it took the characters forever to all get together. Not even in a sexual way. Some story points felt drawn out and needless. It was an okay story.

This was my second Kelly Jamison book. It's been a while since I read the first and don't remember much. I found this to be rather trope heavy and the characters a bit flat. Her writing style was dialog heavy, which I like, but found it to be to the exclusion of other useful information and descriptions. If that makes sense, it felt very rushed.

I have to admit I didn't read the blurb before reading Royally Indecent. I just love Jamieson's writing, so went for it. I was slightly shocked when realizing this was a romance between two guys and a gal, but not really since I knew Jamieson had written threesomes before. I found this one to be done well. I could feel the emotional connection and physical attraction between all of the partners. Chelsea, Griffin, and Ford's relationship was extremely steamy, but also very sweet. I liked how they worked through all of their issues. Royally Indecent isn't the type of romance I normally reach for, but I enjoyed the love shared between Chelsea, Griffin, and Ford.

I’m not a “royal” follower at all, never have been and to be honest I don’t care, but when Kelly Jamieson puts out a ménage book it’s an absolute must read for me. From the set up to the characters to the slow build of relationships to the execution of conflict and beyond Royally Indecent was fantastic and impossible to put down.

Chelsea is 25 and loves her work at a non-profit working on getting people to vote, helping them understand how much their vote means and wanting to make the world a better place by helping those who need it. She’s a bit naïve but she’s also very astute and hopeful. A breath of fresh air that hasn’t let what life dealt her take her spirit. She is still living at home with her very protective and a bit over bearing father who she loves and loves her back. There’s a reason he wants her close and honestly it’s a good one but she wants to spread her wings, have some freedom to explore who she is outside of his shadow, and to discover life being on her own. Enter Ford…

When Ford steps in seeing a young woman being harassed by her date in a restaurant he has no idea how much she will change his life. At 34 Ford is an Assistant U.S. Attorney with aspirations of going into politics, he is in a relationship at the moment with a man but he is bi-sexual. There’s something refreshing about Chelsea and they begin meeting for coffee, texting memes, and growing a friendship like none other he’s ever had. When she talks about getting her own place and how worried her father will be he offers up his 2nd bedroom to her.

I loved the friendship that Chelsea and Ford found with each other and their lively discussions about life, politics, and even sports. There was an easy going nature to their relationship that was refreshing and while Ford was almost as overprotective of her as she began to date, he knew she needed to live her own life and then one day she meets Griff at a charity function.

Griff (Griffin) happens to be the Prince of Eria and is in Chicago setting up a branch of his charity to assist veterans, a cause near and dear to his heart from his time serving his country. Griff had a reputation as a playboy prince but his time in the service and since then has made him see with his title he has the ability to do good in the world. He has no interest in being King and isn’t happy that is his destiny, but he’s resigned to it. Then he meets Chelsea and he begins to want more…

I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this book, these characters were all such good people and all had such different backgrounds yet they were good people who wanted to make a difference even if they wanted to do it in different ways. I admired each of them for their commitment to their respective life’s work.

I don’t want to spoil this book because there is a very interesting twist to this story, but I will say the way their relationship came about was organic and there were definite feelings between them all that came from different places. I loved them together and it was easy to see the love that flowed between them as a throuple but also between Griff and Chelsea, Ford and Chelsea, and Griff and Ford. There was respect and admiration as well; these are three people who simply fit together.

There comes a point where Ms. Jamieson ripped my heart out, but after reading this author for over a decade I knew she would but it back together and she did, but I’ll admit she took her sweet time doing it.

Royally Indecent was the book I was waiting for and didn’t even know it; it has been a long while since I’ve read a M/M/F ménage that was so much more than s*x. While Griff and Ford called Chelsea their queen, I can say without any doubt Kelly Jamieson is the queen of ménage romances filled with heart, substance, and emotion while including some beautiful, tender and also hot intimate encounters.

I grabbed this off of Netgalley without even a thought because, well it’s Kelly Jamieson and I love everything she writes. It’s like the Netgalley version of Amazon’s one-clicking for me. So, I requested without reading the blurb. Sometimes, I’ll start a book and not even know who the characters are or who is supposed to find love. I did that here and needless to say, I was a little confused at first. Ford is portrayed as gay in the beginning but he and Chelsea have a meet cute. So, I went back and read the blurb. Aha! This is a threesome! Ok. I’m not opposed to that. Didn’t realize it was a polyamorous relationship where they all three are into each other until I read Ford and Griff’s backstory. A little out of my comfort zone but that didn’t deter me. It was actually pretty steamy and I loved how Chelsea was still sort of the glue that held it all together. Even though, she was portrayed as innocent and naive, she still had the backbone to make it all work.
I gave it 5 stars. It was hot and emotional and kept my interest all the way through. A must-read for anyone who enjoys a ménage.

This is a story about love and the surprises it can bring in different forms. It's a sweet story, very optimistic. The characters are interesting and engaging, the story full of details. A great summer beach read!

Very steamy story about a girl who has led a sheltered life and the two men she falls in love with. This was unexpected in the fact that Ford became Chelsea’s roommates thinking Ford was gay and not bisexual. Griff comes into their lives and the past and present intersect.

I haven’t read a phenomenal thruple story in awhile and this one definitely blew me away! I am very picky with myFM stories because I want a story and not just steam!!

Our three characters are all equally amazing which shows just how well the author writes because I have read thruples where one character just felt like a filler!

Chelsea is our heroine and she is the missing piece in Ford’s life and really rounded out what had once existed between him and Griffin. They had some challenges to work through but it was beautiful to see it all unfold.

Oof. I hate giving one star reviews (because writing books is hard, and I have written zero so who am I to say really?), but this just was not it for me.

The characters hit all the tropes that double as my pet peeves. Chelsea is innocent, and perfect, but not like other girls. Ford is a perfect hero and soldier with a perfectly righteous tragic backstory. Griffin is a literal prince, enough said. And somehow, not a spark (or interesting thought) between them. While this should have been a home-run story with polyamory, bisexuality and true love conquering all, it felt like a lot of exposition for the plot to play out exactly as you knew it would from page one including all the parents acting completely out of character when confronted with the grandeur of one declaration of love. Now, this appears to be a minority opinion, Jamieson has many bestsellers and high-star reviews to her name, so I will chalk this one up to personal preference.

* Received a copy for review.*.
There were elements of this story that I loved. I really liked the characters but the story itself took too long to get started. There was a lot of telling and not enough showing.
The steam was well done but the surrounding story was a bit clunky.

Wow! What an amazing story! The hotness level for this was off the charts! Kelly slayed this story! THIS IS A MUST READ FOR THE SUMMER! 5 stars for this one!
Chelsea has always lived by the rules of her father, and she now see's why when she goes on a date with a guy she met on line. He's a jerk, rude, and when a hot guy, Ford, steps in to rescue her, she's caught off guard by his hotness! But when she thinks he's gay, she knows nothing can come of it. The best thing to come from is it they become the best of friends, though Ford realizes his attraction to her. But he doesn't want to ruin their friendship.
When Chelsea meets a new guy, Prince Griffin, she's so attracted to him, and he's attracted to her, but she feels bad that she has to keep their dates secret even from Ford, because he's the Prince.
When Ford finally see's the guy she's been dating, well, all hell breaks loose!
That's all I'm going to say, this story is best experienced as you read along, but this is a MUST READ for sure! Enjoy

Chelsea is attracted to her best friend and roommate Ford. Then she meets Prince Giffin and falls for him too... Ford starts to get jealous....

This book is steamy. It's a MMF book. I like the chemistry and the sizzle in the book. All the characters are very likable and it's hard to decide who is my favorite! :)

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
