I hate that I enjoyed this so much, but now I can’t finish it!!!

I love a good teacher student love affair, even if it is manufactured through medicine to recreate falling in love during dire situations.

I’m excited to see what happens after the first chapter.

BL romance manga in which a professor has a crush on a colleague and orchestrates a situation where they can be alone and he can make his move. This is such a fun introduction to this manga, I look forward to reading the full thing!

-Disclaimer: I received this book for free through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.-

Liked it!

I enjoyed the art style. The plot was different. The idea of there being a drug that makes you fall in love was intriguing. A chaotic but hopeful preview!

This is a classic Boys love story structure. Personally it'll take me a few chapters to see if the characters pan out or its just a power imbalance relationship with nothing behind it.

The art style is very 2000's and nostalgic to me.

The first chapter sample had an interesting premise, but the interaction between the two men did not seem consensual. I would have hoped for a love story but there was too much of an assault component for my taste. Thanks to Tomoei Sasahara, @netgaley, and Kobunsha BL comics for the chance to read this sample chapter.

Bro…literally this is awful like wtf is happening lol. We see the professor out of nowhere and starts forcefully kiss the uke which was gross. Yeah just why…..

Um. I'm sorry, but this simply just confused me. The story was hard to follow due to the pictures and texts being very chaotic and seemingly in no particular order. The dialogue itself also was a bit uncomfortable in my opinion: there was no authentic speech, and everything was kind of wooden and stilted. The love interest was creepy and weird, and obviously the story itself is ridiculous, but I feel like you would know that just by the blurb, so that's more a matter of preference.

Felt quite rushed, and again the speech bubbles seemed a bit all over the place.
Great pictures though - would be interesting to read the rest of the story.

The premise of a pill stimulating the chemical reactions associated with falling in love is very intriguing. But Christ all mighty, did the Professor have to feed it to him through an open mouth kiss the second they met without so much a by your leave?

Still ajajakhajanahajw weaponised clumsiness in the name of love and lewdness! Genius!

Overall, a very entertaining, fast-paced, romantic comedy story. I’m intrigued by the premise and the characters are fun—I’ll be continuing to read the rest of the volume when it comes out.

This was an ok first chapter to this manga graphic novel. The artwork was good but I did feel that there was little or nothing by way of an introduction into the storyline, it just dived right in there, so I was actually a bit confused at first. In my opinion there is scope for improvement and hopefully that will be seen within the full novel.
My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this excerpt in return for an honest review.

This was just a short snippet of this manga book. The artwork was really great and it felt like it was very fast paced. Being the first chapter, I still felt very lost going into this story. I am hoping the rest of it really picks up and has a more engaging plot.

I read this m/m romance manga really quickly and I don't know whether that was because it seemed so rushed OR because it didn't seem 'real' enough to be classed as romance. I could see what the author was trying to do, but it just seemed forced and gave me horrible vibes. The main character is defintly very creepy but I wonder if he can warm in the next issue. We shall see.

First of all I think the premise is interesting but I don’t like the fact that there’s no consent and even though it was only one chapter everything happened way too fast… For these reasons I don’t think I’d be reading more from this book.

This was really enjoyable, and I'd love to read more. It has a pretty interesting plot, the characters are fun and the art style is really nice.

The first chaper of Professor Stranglove was an interesting one. It has a strong start and I'm interested to continue. The premise of the "love drug" is interesting and overall the story seems entertaining. Will be continuing

A yaoi manga heavy on the comedy and a really enjoyable read. It’s love to continue past this one chapter to see how things turn out. I loved the art and the character designs. Great for fans of BL and yaoi who like there stories on the lighter side.

Minus the illict kiss that was not asked for by Hayama, I wish that i could read the rest of this manga.
The premise is something that is not knew to me, the illict drug given for love trope, but it is not often done in a funny way.

The art is great, it is pretty much like all the other manga I read which makes it easier to move through the pages. The idea of love coming from a drug sounds kind of rapey (I know it is not a word, but bare with me) but I love the hilarity of the chapter that I read.

There is nothing that I would change about the chapter I read. Honestly I would not change anything in the book either, if it is just as funny as the first chapter. I wish that I could have read the book in its entirety, but I will wait until I can obtain it.

This was super odd but also really intriguing. I'm curious about what happens next. The professor is definitely a strange character, and the end of this chapter really makes me want to keep reading.

This is playing with cliché situations and I'm in for it. I just hope it doesn't go the noncon route as it's not my thing. Anyway, this story follows a university student who gets played into helping a researcher. Then he gets kissed by him and is told it's a research about cliché situation of falling in love, that's so fun if done well. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it.

Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this preview!

First, this manga follows the familiar formula of similar works in the BL genre which, I consider myself a big fan and collector of. Art and questionable tropes aside, I felt a disconnect with pretty much everything going on.

The characters weren’t my favorite. The professor being a little too…eccentric for my taste. And the general pacing and development of the story was a little too wild and fast for my liking. Overall, I don’t think I would pick this up after the first chapter.
