This is the first book I have read by Gabrielle Ash and of course I didn't start with book 1. Nope thankfully book 2 in the series Circle Seven. The author catches readers up quickly from what happened in book 1 to the beginning of book 2.

This book is written like a YA novel which I have to assume it is. The female lead is strong and wont break under pressure. The male lead is swoon worthy as I have learned is normal for YA novels. Gabrielle has some great lines in this book that will have readers remember and might use with their loved ones.

Yes this YA supernatural series is cheesy and steamy romance that will have fans loving the book. With all Supernatural books a battle of good vs evil and who will win.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of The Unrighteous Son

I haven’t read the first book in the series, but there was enough to let me feel I had a handle on the story. Matilda Ashby is a human in a supernatural world that she doesn’t understand. She had hired a body guard only to fall in love. But he has disappeared. She finds herself floundering, and delving deeper and deeper into a murky world as she struggles to protect her half demon boyfriend and herself. She’s going to need old acquaintances, and maybe she has more friends than she thought. There are many authors writing in this area of the genre, but not all of them have the accomplished story telling gift of Gabrielle Ash, which she shares with the reader in a fast paced, action filled, entertaining, exciting and complete book. Thank you to City Owl Press and NetGalley for letting me read an ARC. The views expressed are all mine freely given.
